Spacious, clean, elegant and amazing staff
Reviewed By johnbJ3529MBWe stayed for a week and we will definitely be staying again. The hotel is old fashioned but in a very good way-elegant, clean and with instagrammable decor but the icing on the cake is the friendly and efficient staff...from cleaners to bar staff to reception there is nothing they would not do to make our stay successful. Excellent breakfast and in room meals were of excellent quality for a reasonable price. plenty of local shops including a brilliant bakery within 5 minutes walk.

What really sets this hotel apart is the phenomenal attention to detail and high standards of customer care shown by all staff. I would highly recommend it.

We were a group of three people in Ploiesti for business purpose and who stayed at Sky Blue Hotel & Spa for 2 nights. Everything was much higher than expected: from the very spacious rooms (even too spacious), ultra equipped and very clean to one of the best breakfasts I've ever had in Romania (refined and plentiful). Dinner was also a very pleasant surprise: an international menu with a strong Mediterranean influence and the Turkish lavash is fabulous! The staff and all the services were 5 stars! Do not miss a unique experience in Romania- the best hammam in country! Recommendations: a more diversified range for beer and, why not, specialty coffee. For such delicious dishes, you want drinking an IPA or a carefully selected and freshly roasted coffee.

Reviewed By BabydadaMy family - parents and grandkids were driving as refugees from Ukrainee to more safer place in Europe. Decided to book two rooms in this hotel on BB basis. Since I work in tourism i mae reservation via my partners - 6 tours srl - the company that i cooperate with for last 10 years. Rooms were booked and paid. When my family arrived they were just given the keys from room and were told that the breakfast will start tomorrow at 7 a.m.. When they came next morning they were told that - THEY HAVE TO PAY the rooms by cash, even though rooms were paid already on BB basis. And also manager said that the rooms were booked without breakfast!!!! i advised him to check the voucher where it's written that the breakfast is included - it was the main reason for this hotel to be booked - to be able to have a breakfast in the morning and continue the trip!!!! Then manager said that their kitchen starts working at noon and that my family should wait till this time if they want to have a breakfast!!!!!! My parents paid once again by cash...... DO NOT reccomend this place to anyone!!!! Once again - they were not on vacation, they were running from war, they PAID both rooms in advance..... and had to pay twice by cash! My partners refunded the money for the hotel, but it's not the way i expected everything to be!!! if my parents, as a refugees haven't had cash.... they had to sleep on street??????

Reviewed By Malcolm RThe hotel is at best 3 stars..the pictures on line must have been taken some years ago as the decor is somewhat dated and tired compared to them..we had a room at from of building.it was clean and adequate..the bathroom was huge with a nice big Jacuzzi.. unfortunately we didn't get to use it ..we didn't sleep a wink first night as it does not have any sound proofing and the noise from the boulevard outside was deafening..the "staff " did find us another room at back which was much quieter and made our second night much more bearable..breakfast was average and we had to hunt for staff th get coffee and it seemed that this was hassle for them..we booked this hotel due to its advertised spa facilities only to find a tiny splash pool and sauna , steam room and hot tub all not working..I appreciate that ploiesti is probably not a tourist hub so standards are not that cared for..won't be going here again

Nice small hotel
Reviewed By HarryMartaStayed for one night during businesstrip. I got, by missplanning the largest room with a balcony. Nice clean room. Very hard bed, not comfortable at all. I am glad I wore earplugs all night as the ambulances to a nearby hospital caused some noise during the night. Friendy staff and surprisingy good breakfast. Only 10 minutes walk to the shoppingcenter. Not so nice areas around, so no hotel for touristing. But good hotel for businesstrip.
