Beware of theft
Reviewed By 502stephcI stayed at HP from May 16-20 for business. Working with MIE, uMAURITIUS and SeDEC. As soon as I discovered that money was taken from my wallet, I contacted HP on Sat and Sunday MAY 21 and 22 and was told by the receptionist that the manager will call me back. But never did. A university rep and I then came to the hotel on Monday May 23, 2022 and met with Ryan, the manager on duty who told us to leave the matter with him after taking a written statement from me. He told the uni rep and I that he would speak with his superior to have our last day’s rooms refunded to show good faith and compromise. Were we told to proceed to give a theft statement to the Police we would have done so on that same day. As well, as tourists we assume that our hotel is safe and free from thefts. If the hotel is not assuming responsibility who is then? And if the responsibility rests on us, the hotel should have a sign stating BEWARE OF THEFTS. Ryan misled us and I ran out of time as my visits were nearing the end. When I spoke with CIA and the Police we were informed that your hotel has huge problems. Many victims have already came forward. I faxed them my ID so that my name is added to the list of victims. There are no standards of care and I urge all to stay away from the hotel. I feel saddened with this beautiful country with so many potential that lacks leadership. I have told Mr. GLANNES that I will share his lack of actions with the DPM, uMauritius and SEDEC administrators who recommended the hotel.

Reviewed By H7470REmarygIt is a very good hotel, clean and peaceful. It has a sauna. Breakfast is very yummy. Staffs are very helpful and welcoming. The hotel is located in a very nice location in Quatre Bornes making it easy to get access to metro station, bus station and it was easy to move around the island. There are also many shopping centres and restaurants around. I really enjoyed my stay.

Reviewed By Eapen TAn excellent apartment to stay. Stayed for 20 days, felt like home, didn’t feel like leaving when it was time to go. Very well kept, neat and tidy rooms. All amenities including the cooking vessels were present. Bathroom was clean. Everything is exactly how it was described in the internet site. Greatly recommended for the parents of students studying in the medical colleges when they come visiting. The host is very friendly and helpful.

Reviewed By david pRoom need some more improvement but it release to the guest. Front desk staff friendly and smiling. The paint of the ceiling is cracking and falling. AC was leaking and it get the pillow wet. Definitely there is more improvement to work on Thanks

Absolutely abysmal - avoid at all costs

Room feels like a prison no wifi in room or lobby dogs barking all night, road noise almost constantly, Crawling mites on the breakfast rolls - urrrgggh I know it's a budget hotel, but my advice - avoid if you can.

Full day Tamarind falls
Reviewed By cristinamtanaseWe've booked full day Tamarind falls hike with Prakash after reading a lot of good reviews about him. And it was an amazing day! We started with a bigger group for the first falls and after this continued all the way with Prakash, who is a very nice man that showed us amazing views along the way. The hike was a little hard in some points and we would have not been able to finish all the trail without Prakash. The lunch he brought was very tasty and his company along the way very nice. He has a beautiful family and he is a very welcoming man. This was for sure the best experience in Mauritius!

Reviewed By fanfandiamantTrès bien situé pas loin de la ville et de toute commodité, le patron est un blaguer et accessible on peut tout lui demander et c'est arranger dans la minute.La chambre est propre et bien nettoyer cela fait plus de 15 ans que je viens chez mr RAJAH . La nourriture est varié un petit point négative son petit déj n'est pas très copieux.
