I had a very nice comfortable stay at ala Chakana. The guesthouse is located in a peaceful location surrounded by scenic views and the location is great for walking around and being in nature. If you wanted to get away from it all this is the place. La Chakana had a really nice relaxed atmosphere and Stephen the host was very helpful.

Certainly worthy of consideration

The location is very good, right on the main strip, and just a few blocks from the main shopping areas. We had a room overlooking the river, which is always nice, but it was really nothing special about the hotel. The Wi-Fi was spotty, which is typical in peru, and unfortunately we had very little if any hot water to take a shower

This hostal does not exist

The Karina Wasi is about 10 min walk outside of Pisac. I did not call beforehand and just asked for directions and walked there when I arrived in Pisac. I knocked on the gate, a men opened and I asked if they have a room and/or bed in a dormitory available. He replied that Karina Wasi is a private house and in no way a hostal or anything like that. I told him about reviews on tripadvisor and the webpage of Karina Wasi. The man insisted that Karina Wasi is a private house and for that reason he cannot do anything for me. So I guess either the 4 comments on tripadvisor before me are fake or the Karina Wasi is a private house that occasionally takes guests if reserved well in advance (from the fotos on tripadvisor I know that I have been at the right place), but definitively not a place at which you just can show up when you arrive.

Bamboo Lodge Sacred Valley

AMAZING hotel!

Reviewed By A9925KSjessicag

I checked into Bamboo Lodge after unexpectedly canceling my other hotel reservation. Carina was professional and incredibly helpful. My room was like something out of a magazine! It overlooked the peaceful river. It is in a great location; not directly in the center of all of the hustle and bustle. The free breakfast was delicious! I was able to take breakfast in my room during one of the days I had to work early. I was surprised to have a space heater and extra blankets, much needed during the cold nights. The balcony was tremendous and a beautiful place to work from as the Wifi extended all over the property. The hotel was very covid safe and everything was cleaned routinely with hand sanitizer throughout. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel. The price is unbeatable for the quality! I will definitely be returning in the future.
