Superb!

Reviewed By ArchieMacFee

My wife and I have just returned from a weeks stay at this fabulous small hotel. The staff were all fantastic. Very warm and welcoming - it almost feels like you are 'plugging in' to an extended family - nothing is too much trouble. The suite that we had was excellent with a view to die for across Parga and the bay. Breakfast is served outside your room on the balcony and is extremely good with a fabulous variety on offer - see picture. We ate in the small restaurant on the evening of our arrival, and the food was superb - very much fine dining with a Greek twist. The only problem for us was that we prefer to eat much earlier than tables are available, so mostly ate in the town (usually we were tthe first ones in any Taverna we arrived at :-) Access to the town is dead easy as there are steps almost opposite the Irida which take you down into the town with just a few minutes walk. As mentioned in other reviews, parking is limited, but we never had a problem parking underground in the cool. The one potential problem here is that the driveway up to the hotel is very steep, so if you have problems with your knees etc this maybe not for you (especially after walking back up the steps from town too!) Having said that I am 70 years old with knee problems and I coped fine. My Wife and I are definitely planning on returning!

Parga Beach Resort

Parga Beach Resort is a beachfront resort in Parga, consisting of neoclassical Venetian style bungalows, surrounded by 350 year old olive trees and a fabulous garden with over 500 plants and flowers. In a relaxing and stylish setting by the sea that offers a view of one of best beaches in Greece, of the Venetian castle and the city of Parga, you can taste our Mediterranean fusion cuisine that includes traditional dishes, fresh fish and oysters. You can also enjoy coffee, refreshments, snacks and cocktails at the bar right next to the restaurant, which has the same spectacular view and decor. The experience is completed by music that carries you away and by our friendly and experienced staff. The décor of the rooms matches perfectly with the beautiful neoclassical façade of the bangalows. The bedroom’s decoration speaks for itself; it is the embodiment of style and quality. But Parga Beach Resort’s experience is not only about what you see. The Coco Mat orthopedic and ecological mattress and pillow of your choice selected from our pillow menu will give you an excellent sleep experience!

A Feast for the Senses

Reviewed By Oldenoughtoknowbette

I’ve been visiting the Parga area since 2004 but this was my first stay at The Parga Beach Resort. The resort has had a lot of recent investment and it shows. You are literally on Valtos beach which is great. The place is a feast for the senses. The gardens are fabulous and wrap around all the accommodation. Everywhere you turn there are fragrant and colourful flowers and shrubs like roses, lavender, rosemary and trailing jasmine. Our room was beautiful with every comfort catered for. We had a side sea view and looked over one of the four small pools which are spread over the resort. We booked bed and breakfast and we were really pleased with the variety of food on offer on the buffet. There really was something for everyone and you can eat as much as you like. All the staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. There is some building work going on an adjacent site but they didn’t start work until a reasonable hour and in no way spoiled our holiday. The only slight criticism I would make is that the food in the snack bar was disappointing. I think it was a bit pretentious - the pizzas were ok but we would have preferred good old Greek bread to brioche for the burgers and hot dogs. All in all we had a fabulous holiday and will definitely book again.

Enjoyed our stay

Reviewed By millie895

We are leaving today after a lovely weeks stay at the Alfa. The rooms were lovely, modern and clean and the beds were comfortable. Also a great hairdryer compared to many we have had to use before! The bar area is lovely. A good choice of drinks however we found some prices more expensive compared to local tavernas. A good lunch menu with lots of lovely options. The hotel is in a wonderful location and is an easy walk away from Parga Town. So many tavernas nearby as well as in parga town. The hotel’s restaurant was fabulous in the evening. Good choice at breakfast. There is a primary school located behind the hotel which didn’t bother us at all but if this is something that bothers you be cautious if you’re travelling during term time. There were always sunbeds available and most got the sun throughout the day. Lovely pool but unfortunately at this time of year far too cold for us. Staff were good. There are a couple of small things to mention, on the last night there was some form of birthday gathering/celebrations for a staff member at the hotel which were fairly loud as they were close to our room meaning we were kept up which was unfortunate. The hot breakfasts food seemed to be luke warm at best in the morning although we still enjoyed the food. We are not ones to complain at all and despite this didn’t spoil our stay. We would definitely consider coming back to the Alfa for our next visit to Parga. Also a shout out to the TUI rep Sissy, she was fabulous and had so much knowledge!

Fantastic place

Dracos is a place my family have visited for over 10 years and every time we return it feels like home. It’s peaceful, relaxing, staff are amazing, clean, gorgeous setting……we love it as a couple and also as a family with a 2 year old who never left the swimming pool. Christina and Joanna on reception will do anything for you, they even entertained our little boy. Vasso and Yoita always give you a service with a smile and nothing is ever to much. Valentino - fixes anything you need fixing! Spyros is a fab host and bar man and he makes our holiday fun. we can’t wait to see him every year when we return, that’s even when he gives my husband too much ouzo, we love him. Dimitris - THE BOSS he’s always at the hotel if needed looking after his staff and guest. He runs Dracos very well and there has never been any problems in all the time we have visited. We love the Dracos family and I’m sure you will too. The Parga bar they own in town is also amazing.

Hotel Rezi Parga

Currently staying at the Rezi in Parga, the hotel is in an excellent position. 5 mins walk to the nearest beach & about 10-15 mins walk into town along the front of the town beach where there are loads of nice bars & restaurants to choose from. The hotel is spotless & staff are really nice. The buffet breakfast is good with plenty of choice & hot food available as well as the usual pastries, fruit, cheese & meats etc. It’s in a quiet area which is possibly the reason there is never any music playing. A little background music in the bar & around the pool would be good. Rooms are compact but ok for our 2 week stay. There’s the usual library with loads of books to choose from. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent place

Family owned with probably the best hosts I’ve met in my 200 days per year international travel. The place is extremely clean, private parking, quite area although on the main road, with customer approach owners, suitable for families and couples with small children and a big value for money! Brothers Stefanos and Jason including their parents are more than friendly and excellent hosts. Worth visiting is their restaurant “Ravioli” in the center of Parga where you will taste probably one of the best pizzas and past. Personally, the risotto is more than tasty :-) Anyone visiting will not regret, but would like to visit them again!
