Reviewed By 670aubrybA charming butik hotel in the center of Sigishuara town. We found it by coincidence. The rooms have lovely decor and we are very impressed by the huge size. Bathroom accessories are stocked well. The whole place is pristinely clean. Antique oil paintings and furniture really place this hotel on the top of the list. The town should give this hotel an award for authenticity and historic significance. They sure do deserve it.

The host was very friendly and caring, offering a nice homemade breakfast for only 15 lei a serving (omlet topped with bacon and cheese, tomatoes and cucumbers, bread, jam and butter). Coffee and water were always there for free. Clean rooms and nice, quiet location. 10/10

Reviewed By YorkshireAviatorMy visit to this hotel was made very unpleasant by the bizarre heating system.The wall adjacent to the bedhead,and part of the adjacent wall,near to the (non-) sleeper’s face,was HOT. The radiant heat was intolerable,and I had to pull the bed to the centre of the room,and sleep with my feet to the bedhead. The reception staff would not ameliorate this situation by turning down the heating,or by offering another room.The very heavy bed was extremely difficult to move,and no help was offered. As well as the radiant heat,the room was,as a whole,too hot.Opening the windows admitted noise from drinkers. A small noisy dog was allowed in the adjacent room.The staff were equally uninterested when I complained about this.

I found an empty table and I sat there, there was still food from previous customers on the table- a waiter came and took the plates away but did not bother to wipe the table ( during COVID pandemic) and then for 15 minutes no one came to take our order. My boyfriend went inside to call the waiter and the waiter told him “if you’re that impatient, you can go somewhere else”. No comment, so rude!

A charming hotel in a great location.
Reviewed By ge0rge26My wife and I stayed at this hotel for two nights as part of a guided Romanian tour. Prince Charles has stayed here and it is a romantic hotel with a lot of old world charm. The hotel has only got nine rooms so the service is refreshingly personal. That said, our guide and us were the only guests for the first night. The breakfast was good and the one dinner we had was to a high standard. The location is perfect and could hardly be bettered. The drawbacks: 1. It is not possible to park a car by the hotel, other than for the initial dropping of luggage. 2. There are no elevators in the hotel. If you have been allocated a room on the top (3rd) floor, that’s quite a few steep stairs to negotiate with one or more heavy suitcases, although it should be possible to get some assistance from hotel staff. 3. There isn’t a proper shower just a shower arrangement over the bath. Overall, this is a lovely quiet hotel option in an excellent location with a lot of charm.

Reviewed By Carmen0303What we have found: Very filthy room with an intense toilet odor. We have announced the reception but it seems that nothing can be done…seems like there is a standard for dirt here! Too bad that the location is great. This hotel needs another management for sure.

Worst stay ever
Reviewed By 422laurincThe staff barely spoke english. The breakfast was advertised as also including croissant, cereal and kid specialties, but that was not the case. Only 4 types of breakfast that came cold and with eggs not cooked enough. One of the Kids had a small cut on his leg, but the staff did not have a small bandage to cover it(legal requirement by the way). In the morning there was not an option for cappucino although the menu specified as available. The water was stopped due to a construction incident în the city, but the staff were not prepared and did not offer anything as a backup, they only menționed that it is not their problem. All în all the worst EXPERIENCE în Sighișoara!

Good place to stay
Reviewed By Alina MI've stayed just one night and I arrived pretty late. The stuff was kind and they had my room prepared. The place has a private parking space and you can enter just with the access card. The room is clean and I liked especially the bed which was comfortable. The bathroom is also clean. In the room they have a tv, ac, and a mini fridge. I didn't like that they don't have a mini bar in the room. The location is near the city centre and it has a taxi station in front of it. For one night stay it was ok.
