A peculiar stay
Reviewed By Philip BFirst things first, the Zamek, or castle, is enchanting and the location right on the beach is second to none. There’s also plenty of rustic charm and the rooms are clean and well-maintained on the whole. But it’s one of the strangest hotels you’ll stay in. Like much of Poland, the welcome and service you’ll get can be described as ‘fine’. Politeness is abundant, but don’t expect any help with your bags, or for anything above and beyond the usual. For example, while using the pool, staff members came over and started covering and closing it, even while I was still swimming. Fine at closing time, but it was 3pm! Despite its 1907 build date and extensive renovations, there is no lift, and the disabled access is very unfriendly. We had a pram and the doorway via the ramp was locked on several occasions. This meant lugging cases, pram and baby up and down several flights each and every day. The rooms that have been renewed are lovely, but our in-laws’ room needed a fresh look. It felt like little had been in done in 30 or so years, and that maintenance rather than renewal was the key to success. The biggest let down however was the Wi-Fi. It was difficult to maintain a connection and the connection was painfully slow throughout the hotel. We couldn’t stream or upload photos, so we ended up using our data - with little signal making that difficult too. And breakfast? Straight out of the 1970s - all fine, all tasty, but another quirky experience you’ll need to be prepared for. One thing we really enjoyed was the food in the restaurant. Everything tasted good and the quality of ingredients became obvious, but for Poland, it’s very expensive! Worth it? Probably, if you’re looking for ease. The new spa was just opening as we arrived and was pretty good, albeit a little weird. In all, we liked elements of Zamek Leba but we think a few things need a warning. If you’re planning on spending most of your time on the beach or exploring Leba, then great. If you need the most out of the facilities, then you’ll be left wanting from time to time. Just don’t stay here if you plan a working holiday - you’ll spend your holiday in an Internet cafe!

Reviewed By Tova Yoram LGrand Leba is nice clean and comfortable hotel, with a restaurant and spacious monitored parking. The breakfast is very good with some typical Polish dishes. They even offer sparkling wine, not real champagne but a nice touch, especially if it is one's birthday. A small stream flows just outside the hotel so one can enjoy watching ducks and other water birds. Nice, clean and comfortable hotel, very good breakfast and friendly staff, who can wish for anything more?

In the walking distance there are restaurants, shops, cafes, forest and of course the sea))) Ми були 5 днів, але нам вистачило, щоб відпочити . У декількох хвилинах ходьби знаходяться ресторани, магазини, кафе, ліс і звичайно море))) (Мы были 5 дней, но отдохнули. Reviewed By SawaK3Very nice hotel, located in quiet place, near to beach and marina. 20 mins walk to city center. Room was clan and spacious, with private balcony. Breakfast was good and fresh. Swimming pool is small, but after long walk on beach, it serves it purpose.

Excellent weekend off-season
Reviewed By tymtyrymtymStayed here with my family during long Jan weekend, this place is excellent! For that price to have a car park and unlimited access to nice swimming pool is a bargain! Whole lace is really warm (for us too hot, but you can always switch off the radiators and open some windows - so that wasn't a problem). Nice jacuzzi in the swimming pool. Breakfasts - absolutely amazing! Also children play room is very nice and has a big variety of toys. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Reviewed By radddddGreat location, safe parking, decent(free) wi-fi connection, new bathrooms. Staff very friendly and helpfull. Huge breakfest (buffet).I strongly recommend it for families with kids (plenty attractions for kids in Łeba), and for group of friends (close to the city center)

Reviewed By alexandranL1550BNThis is one of the best places I have been lately. Verr good food in the buffet, I didnt expect it to be so great. Nice location near by beach. The only minus is a bit outdated rooms. Furtniture was in some places damaged.

Good value in Leba
Reviewed By Anselm_randomtokenThis guesthouse offers sufficiently equipped and clean rooms for a very reasonable price. The rate also includes a parking space, and WiFi access. Albeit this turned out to be on the very slow side due to a weak signal in our room. The road facing room had two further inconvenciences; one was people passing in front of it, so you had to close the curtains if you wanted some privacy. The second was that the curtains didn't keep all the light out, so if you are sensitive to light, you might awake early in the morning. The breakfast is of high quality, both in terms of variety and ingredients (strong coffee, fresh cheeses and vegetables) and an amazing value at the price that is asked for it. There are two beach section, both within a 20 minutes walking distance, though if you like the holiday feeling, with street vendors, shops and cafés, there seems to be more of that towards the A section. The Slowinski national park is in close proximity as well, the designated parking space from which the electric trains leave, can be easily reached by car. Alternatively, there are electric vehicles going there from the town center. Or one can just relax in the well-kept garden of the guesthouse. Finally, the friendly and helpful owner also contributed to our comfort at this place.
