Reviewed By Fernando CI should advice some característics to recomend it: it Has good positive points: localization, good stuff, breakfast, large suits, near atractions from Manaira and JP in general. It has negative points: it’s restaurant is expensive, you shall pay R$ 15,00 per day for parking, the roof bar is amazing but has restricted hours of working. Enjoy it!!!

Reviewed By DelfinoEdwardI’ve wanted to stay at this hotel since first coming to this area and we had to be in town for a night, so I used it as an excuse to book. The hotel is very attractively decorated inside and the room was large and the bed was very comfortable (a Sealy Posturepedic—I had to look). The staff couldn’t have been more pleasant and helpful. They have a rooftop bar and pool with a great view of the Atlantic Ocean. The hotel also offers free indoor parking. Upon arriving, the hotel sent a complimentary cheese platter and a chilled bottle of spumante to our room, which was a very pleasant surprise. Breakfast is included, and was served in our room because of the current precautions being taken. The food was abundant: eggs, tapioca (the Brazilian kind, not the pudding), breads, cheeses, cold cuts, cake and tropical fruits. My only complaint was that there wasn’t enough coffee for us (but we drink a lot of coffee). This hotel is the closest hotel to Ponto do Seixas, which is the easternmost point of the Americas, which makes this another reason to consider staying here.

Reviewed By DelfinoEdwardShould I start with the overall rating? OK…2 stars is the best I can give this hotel & I will explain why. The location is worth 5 stars—it’s right in front of the beach. It’s also near a bunch of good restaurants and not far from 2 shopping malls and also close to many beach bars and souvenir shops. The included breakfast is also very good—all the cakes, cookies and pastries are homemade and delicious; the fruits are very fresh & the cooked dishes are also tasty. 4 stars. The staff are all very pleasant, helpful and accommodating, though none speak English (it’s hard to find a hotel in Joao Pessoa with English-speaking staff). 4 ½ stars. The rooms are small. If they were clean, I might be able to forgive the size because of its great location, but they’re not (see photos of the bathroom). The bathroom is full of black mold; the shower head is crusted with minerals and the A/C has enough dust in it for you to know that it’s never been cleaned. This is management’s fault—not the housekeepers. Many hotels here will blame the mold on the sea air (“maresia”) and humidity, but if you know this problem exists, a manager should train staff to clean these problem areas more vigorously or more frequently. That’s why it’s only worth 2 stars.

13 wonderful days at the Nord Luxxor Tambaú

It is just across the street from the beach in a nice and safe location. While staying in the hotel, I worked with Giselle Ferreira and the events and restaurants staff to have a birthday party for my father. Giselle and her team went above and beyond to make this a memorable event fir my father and all family members that attended. The food and at,is-here was wonderful and everyone had a great time. Pedro Rodrigo at the front desk and the entire staff was very helpful during my entire stay. The daily breakfast was amazing as was all meals I had at the hotel restaurant. I highly recommend the Nord Luxxor Tambaú for your trips to Joao Pessoa! I will definitely return.

Reviewed By George ZFinished another weeks stay at the LS Hotel and they impressed again. Staff is consistently amazing and always so kind. The room was beautiful and clean. Love the evolution of the rooftop pool, bar and restaurant. A nice addition to the services. I had lunch there twice. The gentlemen that took care of me were great and the tuna and avocado was tasty. Couldn't ask for better on a sunny day. See you again soon LS Hotel.
