Good hotel, good location
Reviewed By Mik1984The hotel was a good location to explore the old city, there was also a supermarket nearby and for those who want western food, there was a KFC. The hotel was very grand on entry and the staff very helpful and polite. The rooms were very clean and modern. The corridors were quite smokey despite staying on a non smoking floor. The breakfast had a lot of choice and was well stocked.

Nice historic hotel, but somewhat impersonal room
Reviewed By RenaudBtThe Tingziyun hotel is located in a superb historic property which has been quite well preserved. The lobby is impressive. Very helpful staff here again.The only speak Mandarin, but translating apps will help you out. The hotel has no own parking, but there are possibilities around and they will pick up and bring your luggage if you indicate where your car is. The rooms and bathrooms are very nice, clean and comfortable. All you need is present. We slept in an obvioulsly recently built part of the hotel which missed the authenticity that we expected from a place like this. There might be some more authentic rooms, but we did not see them.

Roughly 90 years, we slept inside history.... Breakfast is simple but good and all comfort like shower, toilet, A/C. It’s crazy clean and nice

Reviewed By Azar0Un albergue situado a unos 25 minutos caminando del centro histórico, junto al lago. Es fácil andar hasta el centro. Yo me alojé en una habitación privada con baño individual y dos alturas, amplia, muy limpia, con una cama muy cómoda y un baño impoluto. Es una excelente opción si no te importa alojarte fuera del centro histórico, a buen precio. El desayuno es bastante completo: leche, café o zumo, ensalada, un huevo con bacon, tostadas, fruta y yogur.

Les propriétaires sont d'une extrême gentillesse, et ils nous ont invité à boire le thé avec eux tous les soirs, en compagnie des autres hôtes. Ce fut un réel plaisir de rester dans cet hôtel. A good solid business hotel
Reviewed By ZhongguoKMThis is a good solid business hotel that delivers value for the money. It's not geared to western tourists, but the staff is friendly and helpful. I don't know what level of English is spoken. One possible drawback is that it's not located in Old Town, which is where most tourists want to go. However, it's a short ride on city bus number 12 or 15 to go there, and costs 1 Yuan. Breakfast is satisfactory, but nothing elaborate. It features items that mainly appeal to Chinese guests. For example, I didn't see any coffee, though they might have it if one asked. Next door is a decent massage shop and sauna 水疗. The hotel is across from People's Hospital 人民医院 if you're trying to locate it on a map. I would stay here again.
