Reviewed By Julia OWe stayed in Mandl-Scheiblechner in order to visit the event “gipfelklaenge”. What makes this hotel special is the service and the passion for detail. The place is clean, taken care of and nicely decorated. There are open spaces to linger around and one can easily find a quiet place where one can work, which is especially important for me. Furthermore, there is a small wellness area with Finnish sauna, infrared cabin and massages – so every amenity you can expect from a 4* hotel. My recommendation: stay in one of the so-called “Geniesserzimmer”! They are spacy and kept regional and authentic: four-poster bed and pictures from Austrian artists in the room, “schnaps” (some typical, but very strong Austrian liquor) and fruits from the region. My room was on the riverside and in the morning I was woken up by the sunrays and the sound of water. Lovely surprise: we received a wish list from which we could choose 3 wishes that were then fulfilled (e.g. a schnaps in the bar, solarium visit, etc.). I think, that was a lovely thing and it made the stay something special although we only spent 2 nights there. To summarize – a positive surprise. I felt comfortable in the whole house and the atmosphere was pleasant and amiable. I really liked the topic “regionality and enjoyments”. The owners, as well as the personnel were extremely friendly and helpful and made the stay being remembered. PS! Who is looking for a special hiking experience: check out “gipfelklaenge”! It is a two days event – hiking combined with concerts. The scenery is gorgeous and the rhythms as well ;)

Reviewed By GL-FR-12On se perd dans ce grand et bel hotel Nous y avons séjourné deux nuits, l'affluence était assez basse (pas bcp de monde) Plusieurs sauna et hammam (à différentes température) sont disponibles ainsi qu'une grande zone naturiste Deux piscines (une type SPA chauffée avec jet..., l'autre plus de natation) Cours de tennis, équitation, salle de fitness digne de club classique L'accueil donne sur un terrain d'équitation, on peut ainsi admirer les chevaux (à travers des vitres) Un des restaurants permet de manger à côté de vaches (toujours à travers des vitres) les employés sont en costume typique La chambre est bien, rustique et confortable Et on nous donne un petit cadeau à la fin du séjour

Reviewed By 001CarlosNetter Bauernhof in ruhiger Lage, ausgesprochen zuvorkommende Gastgeberfamilie, Zimmer sind geräumig mit großen Balkon, nett eingerichtet, sehr sauber und sehr gepflegt. Die Halbpension ist sehr zu empfehlen, es wird auf Wünsche eingegangen. In der Jausenstation bekommt man allerlei hausgemachte & regionale Spezialitäten. Schiverleih und Loipe ist gleich am Bauernhof .Loipen perfekt gepflegt.

Reviewed By Bronwen BStayed here due to an Expedia mix up and them rebooking us. The hotel is definitely not a 4 star and it would struggle to even be given 2 stars. The room was so dusty and the linen and towels had not been washed recently. One could easily feel the mattress springs coming through and the pillows were shocking. We had the joy of staying in a superior room and my goodness I would hate to be placed in a standard room if that was the case! The disaster continued at breakfast as we were faced with stale cereal and concerns about the varied freshness of the items. We avoided the breakfast on our second morning and preferred not to eat than face that again. I would avoid this hotel at all costs and especially if you cannot speak any German. The owner did not know how to manually processes a credit card and my husband landed up having to show him! They advertise that they have a restaurant and they do I guess but it only opens from 5pm to 6pm!!! A complete nightmare and it's a huge relief to know we have left and can continue with our holiday! Avoid at all costs and I would recommend sleeping in the car before staying here again!

I just very recommend this accomodation for eating something or booking a room. We were here with three children and they take very care of them.
