Reviewed By MurrayG493Honestly , for me this place was pure heaven. I have never ever been so relaxed, chilled out and happy, it was just what I needed. I had a swim every night under the stars with a glass of red. It’s not expensive, in fact , very very good value for money to be frank. The food was great, and they'd work around you. The service couldn’t of been nicer, and they were always smiling. The Internet was ok, and worked in the restaurant and room, but if you have more than one device in your room, then it becomes a bit tricky , so that would be my only suggestion, that the WIFI gets upgraded.The decor and style is very contemporary , cool, quite chic and two story bar and cafe, and around 5pm you go to the bar, sip cocktails and sit in a hammock and watch the sunset which is incredible. They say this is the new Tbau Du Sol…..I think they might just be right. You come here to get away from the world and this is the perfect place. I walked along the beach in the morning , did some writing and had lunch , more writing , swim, writing and so on…….In fact by the time I left , I hugged them and even shed a little tear as I hadn’t had peace and quiet like that in years as I headed off on my donkey that they organised and included in my bill. I’ll never forget my time here…..truly once in a lifetime experience……if you want the real Brazil……then this is your place…..

Enjoy almost 200km itinerary north of Natal, capital city of Rio Grande do Norte. Landscape diversity - from the coastal green vegetation of coconut groves, huge sand dunes, “falesias” (cliffs), mangroves, salt evaporation ponds - to the Sertão/Agreste, semi-arid region with caatinga vegetation (typical low thorny bushes). Galinhos and Galos villages are located on a very narrow peninsula between the sea and the river. Luckly it has maintained its native characteristics, where besides the untouched nature, we find nice people that still maintain their fishermen traditional lifestyle. We have the opportunity to interact with a community that preserves their culture and the model of tourism practiced is in a sustainable way.It is well known as the place of horse tracked carts as there are no cars in the villages. The access to the peninsula is limited by huge sand dunes which make it possible only for few 4WD and buggies. An ecological sanctuary with plenty of heron birds and Atlantic moonfish (which originated the place’s name).Natural attractions: a huge sand dune (Dunas de Galos), mangroves, salt pounds, rivers and a charming lighthouse.

Reviewed By Martin LA very good pousada with good and clean rooms. Poolarea is nice and clean. All rooms a with a/c and a small bathroom. I can really recommend this pousada! The staff is helpful, there is really nothing more to say but if you go to galinhos, stay here!

Amagali pousada is situated in the small peninsula of Galinhos, a villa of 2000 inhabitants. The hotel faces the sea. Fom each rooms and chalets, you will enjoy the vue of the sea and the sun set. The hotel receive couples, familly and all lovers of nature and peacefulness. Galinhos is also a great place for watersports. The hotel has Stand Up Paddle equipement, kitesurfs, windsurfs and kayakies.

Reviewed By wanderlust_tamGalinhos is a small city, we loved it!! . This is probably the best hotel in town as there are not many options. Poor breakfast. It needs to be improved. Lots of flies flying all over the food. Good hotel, we stayed at the chalé ( the separate house), it was comfy. Salubrious water in the sink (I guess the entires city is like this) however, they leave bottles of mineral water for oral hygiene. Nice pool great view. We recommend it.

Reviewed By marciovandreLocal bem aconchegante e muito próximo da praia. O café da manhã é simples, mas contém os itens necessários para uma boa alimentação (sucos, tapioca, pão e cuscuz). O ponto a se destacar é que a pousada é um pouco distante da entrada de Galinhos. Preferimos vir a pé por não querer andar de charrete, mas fica a cargo do visitante. O proprietário é gente boa e dá dicas importantes. Recomendo o lugar.

As I intended to stay there for nearly a month, Dalva herself offered me a special discount. What I can say about the place is that I felt as if I was at home, and nowadays I consider Dalva (the owner) and Suzy (the manager) and all the staff my friends. If you travel by yourself, I strongly recommend you to stay at Dalva's.

We spent one night in one of the units... clean, comfortable and well maintained. Would highly recommend to other cruising yachts to make a stop here. Safe lovely anchourage in a fishing village lost in time. I also received first class medical treatment at the local village.
