Great place to relax
Reviewed By William WFirst time in Font Romeu so was looking for somewhere comfortable to stay in the middle of the town. This hotel was ideal for that. The room was big with great views of the mountains and a huge bed. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room though. Swimming pool was chilly so probably should have gone in the jacuzzi first ! Management team have done a great job of making the hotel Covid 19 compliant.

Reviewed By PierreGir1981We stayed for 6 nights over new year's eve. Despite a late booking we got a large two volumes family room. We selected the "demi pension", dinner included package and we were very satisfied with the diversity, quality and generosity of the dishes served each evening. One small drawback is the lack of parking, which seems to be a constant throughout Font Romeu hotels, but the management has a few parking passes for residents that they kindly rent out for a reasonnable 10 euros a day, which was a great help. We definitly recommend this family run, warm welcoming hotel.

They tried to keep my deposit when I cancelled
Reviewed By BarnaPaulI cancelled a reservation with three days notice, and although their cancellation policy stated clearly I should get a refund, they refused. After multiple attempts with them, I had to claim back the money via Visa. I recovered my money, but only after a lot of hassle. It's a shame as I stayed there in the past and had no issues, but I'll never book with them again.

Hotel in the middle of Font Romeu village, 50 metres far of the cable-car, great way to go with the maximum confort to the sky resort. Hotel with Restaurant and cafeteria open whole day that provides an acommodation with the best prices. Indoor parking, buffet breakfast and double, triple and quadruple rooms to make a pleasant stay at the Hotel Oree du Bois.

Very good places for family holiday
Reviewed By Yuko CWe were there in March for skiing. The room was clean and staff were all nice. The hotel is located about 5 minutes walk (down) to the village and nearly 10 minutes walk back (up) to the hotel. Going to Tele-cabin station is the same. We enjoyed the walk in the morning from the hotel to get Tele-cabin but a little tired to go back to hotel after skiing all day. We left our ski equipments at a shop where we hire them (right next to the Tele-Cabin station), so we didn't have to take them all up and down. If we didn't, it could have been a nightmare. Anyway, we will definitely go back to the same hotel next year as we liked there so much!

Fantastic stay!
Reviewed By Katie KWe drove up from Barcelona to see the snow and chose this accommodation due to availability and price. When we got there we were pleasantly surprised to find that it exceeded our expectations! The staff were responsive to emails in advance of our arrival about the height clearance in the free, secure parking. The reception staff (Juan) was so friendly, helpful and welcoming. The accommodation was much larger than we expected, plenty of room for us all, clean and warm with AMAZING views from the balcony. The swimming pool was an added bonus, warm and clean with windows looking at the snow. There was also a charming Winter market right beside the hotel where we ate hot crepes! I recommend this place without hesitation and we will definitely return.

Great view and calm
Reviewed By Laelly OThis is for the positive a great view and very calm. But when we arrived nobody was there for us. They received our location but did not arrange to get us the package and keys. So after 20 Minutes !!!!! To try to call their help line they sent us to the extra apartment, just in case. And we had no tv and no wifi for the first night.

Reviewed By Solihull1964A regular visitor,and have been for a number of years. Just back from a 6 day stay,and happy as ever. We got the room for less than £40,out of season,offering terrific value for self catering that sleeps up to 4 people. There is free parking,which is safe to leave a car,and basic toilet/cooking/cleaning products were already there,at least to see you through till you could purchase your own. Love the position near the center of town,and views to die for!

I bought it in a hurry on ventes privée because we knew we would be in Languedoc around ski time and snow had been plentiful in the Pyrenees. I quickly glanced at the 4/5 rating and purchased. This is a place that allows animals. So you can see a photo of the bedroom carpet. This is totally unacceptable. We are asking to move as they have other residences. No response so far.
