I've been visiting Dawson City since 1984 and the Aurora is definitely one of the best hotels on the scene. Tracy and Steve are very welcoming and accommodating - their hotel has the feel of a European inn. Excellent restaurant (try the pasta with elk and bison sausage). Rooms are simple, spacious and comfortable. Highly recommended.

The newly renovated Westmark Inn Dawson City provides visitors with spacious and comfortable accommodations in the heart of this lively gold rush community. Guests discover warm northern hospitality at the Inn with television and a private bath in each of the 177 rooms. Enjoy wonderful meals in Belinda's Dining Room and the Keno Lounge. Dawson City retains the color and flavor of those gold rush days at the turn of the century. The Westmark Inn Dawson City is in the heart of downtown just blocks from the legendary Diamond Tooth Gertie's gambling hall. Open mid-May through mid-September for summer guests.
Most hotels in Dawson City will run you $130 and up. They usually have a musuc festival during the summer. I use to work in the housekeeping dept .. under paid abd the only ones who tipped were the Asians. Its cheaper to buy booze at the local store than to go to the bars.

We invite you to come discover the colourful past of one of Dawson's favourite buildings, and experience its vibrant presence in our thriving Klondike city.
We just got back from Dawson and decided to stay at Bombay Peggy’s. Absolutely loved it!! The pictures don’t do this place justice. Staff are amazing, location is perfect ! I will definitely stay here again, worth every $$. The bed is also AMAZING. We had a great sleep on it . One thing I would suggest is having airport transport provided by the property.

If you are going to charge over $19 for a pancake breakfast to go at your resteraunt - You should probably remember to put the syrup in there. Especially for your Dempster travellers who can't turn back once they've found out and are long gone from town ....

The Bunkhouse offers clean basic accommodation at a great price in Dawson City. Offering private rooms with own or shared bathroom facilities, free parking and wifi. Our central location makes exploring Dawson's many attractions easy. Now under new management there has never been a better time to choose The Bunkhouse for your stay in Dawson.
We booked a room fit for 3 with a private bathroom. Upon entry, the room is cramped. No space to move around, elbows always hit something. I love the keycode entry instead of cards. Good location downtown. Desk fans are available for ventilation. But the pros end there. Cleaning is very sparse. There is a dust buildup everywhere as soon as we went in. We had to clean the room ourselves. Dust was ccumulating on the blinds. Staff did not change towels even though they were on the floor. We had to phone in the manager for them. Microwave is not available in the room considering how cramped the room is. Had to phone in the manager to open the lobby for it. So food heating is not readily accessible. I would pick a different hotel next time. This is not really family-friendly, this is somewhat oriented to younger clientele like a hostel.

Fairly central location in Dawson city - walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants and very close to the museum. The bedroom was modern, clean and comfortable - and there was good wifi. We had one of the bedrooms with a private bathroom and thought the cost was good value. As well as cereals, fruit juice, etc we were given individual plates of cold meats, cheese and boiled eggs, etc - not a massive choice but there was more than enough. Very friendly hostess.

Conveniently located hotel in downtown Dawson City, Yukon, home of the famous Klondike Gold Rush. Directly across the street from Diamond Tooth Gerties's Casino, two blocks from The Palace Grand Theatre, walking distance to all Dawson City has to offer and a 10 minute drive from the airport. Dawson City's newest hotel, a 29 room annex was built in the spring of 2013. Equipped with modern amenities, queen beds and air conditioning. 22 renovated cabins all have kitchenette's and offer a taste of northern hospitality, large front porches to lounge on and ample parking. Our 80 seat-licensed restaurant offers a full menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and features a Non-Smoking Dining Room. A comfortable 56 seat lounge with a covered outdoor patio lets you enjoy the hot northern summer days and almost endless evenings.
On a very busy Friday night, in a community hit by staff shortages as the rest of the country is. Yet we got humour , smiles , great service and excellent food. The grilled chicken burger was to die for with the house salad. You can try to reserve for the outside patio. They don’t guarantee it when it’s busy. Two meals in three days.

Dawson Lodge: A boutique hotel in the heart of Dawson City, home of the Klondike Goldrush, Canada's first bank and first casino. Dawson City is a town full of history, intrigue and modern-day excitement. The hotel has been newly renovated for the 2020 spring season and boasts low energy and environmentally friendly technologies, keyless entry systems, modern design blended with Goldrush era charm and most importantly a comfortable place to rest.
What an amazing place to stay for two nights!! This modern refurbished lodge accommodation is extremely comfortable and well appointed. You get emailed a keypad entry code to the front/back door and then your individual room. The queen size bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in and the lines were soft and clean. Modern rainfall shower and bath, great satellite TV, a mini fridge, Keurig machine and coffee pods (and tea bags) and snacks left to enjoy! The room is cozy but very comfortable and quiet. It’s located in the heart of Dawson City which was perfect. If you’re travelling on motorbikes as we were, this is a great place to stay.

Located one mile south of Dawson City center, Bonanza Gold Motel offers standard and deluxe rooms. Rooms are equipped with air conditioners or fans. All rooms come with fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Cable TV and WiFi are included. Kitchenettes and pet friendly rooms are available. The RV park offers 15/30/50 amp sites with 30 and 50 amp sites providing full service - electric, water, sewer, Cable TV and WiFi. RV/car wash and a laundromat are on the premises.
Although they were officiallly not open, they allowed me to stay for 2 nights. The park was muddy and a few potholes but this was due to the rapid melting of the snow and not a problem. Do not park next to anyone who is a long term resident. I did and they were having a party after midnight and i had to move to another spot. I informed the reception by phone the next morning about the problem and did not get a phone call back
