With an insider from friends in Argentina we arrived here and it could not have been better. The staff, very friendly and attentive, the place clean and very beautiful and finally, the activities made our time unforgettable. My wife and I can recommend this place to everyone who wants something different.

The Andenrose is a German run lodge situated right at the banks of river Cautin surrounded by three volcanoes. We offer warm and cozy rooms and a rich breakfast buffet. In addition we offer rafting, guided jeep tours and bikes to rent!
Beautiful place to relax and eat. Our group stopped for lunch after rafting the river next to the Andenrose. We enjoyed the Bavarian cuisine, Chilean beers and even Pisco sours. The proprietor Hans is charming!

We booked this hotel for a night. On our way through the Andes the border was closed due to a snow storm ( oficial closure) therefore , we couldn't cross to Chile and got trapped in the border before mid day. We immediately called the hotel explaining the situation asking for a cancelation. With surprised we just received the charge in our credit card. This is not a fair policy. We wouldn't like that other tourist will suffer such an unfair hotel policy. Therefore i would like to advice to all tourist from countries outside Chile to not book this hotel.

Epu Pewen was a delight. The place was very clean and well-maintained and had many nice touches with an indigenous flavor. We had a double room with private bathroom and that included breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful and it helped that we could speak some Spanish as no one spoke English. The travel agency associated with the hostel could arrange tours, such as river rafting. I would definitely go back there.

100 % recomendable.

Llaima Camp is a family-run lodging business with a 3-hectare site of native forest by the Captren River, at the foot of the imposing LLaima Volcano. Llaima Camp has a strategic location to visit numerous natural attractions of the Andean Araucania region, for example: Only 150 meters from the main viewpoint of the volcano Llaima (eruption of 1957).
Perfect hosts, (thanks Chris and family!) and perfect place! Close to the National Park and delivering perfectly on my (high) expectations. Very spacious and comfortable cabana. Wonderful fireplace to warm-up the place; great bedroom and bathroom. WiFi was not that good but who cares... this is the time to chill out / relax ! A wonderful place; we will be back!
