Horrible experience
Reviewed By Hod OPersonnel is very rude. The place is crap. Roomservice is well below standard. Rooms are weirdly arranged. Cleaning service is non existent. EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE IS REALLY REALLY HORRIBLE. PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE.

We are a hotel of sun and beach with family atmosphere, private and warm, located in front of Playa Miramar in Ciudad Madero. We have two swimming pool areas, roof and other outdoors, area of palapas and sun loungers, restaurant service. We are your best option, we are waiting for you.
Once is enough
Reviewed By 78darrelwThere didn't seem to be many choices for places to stay along the beach. Granted we did not have a RSVP so we took what they had which was across the street from the beach units. Check in involved signing many copies of documents and disclosures and was a bit prolonged because of that. Three of us had bags but the "bellman" we had restricted his efforts to carrying our room keys and tv remotes and he seemed miffed that he was not going to be tipped for his efforts. The room had a sliding door that looked out at another property that was hard to tell if it was abandoned or occupied and the glass looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in a year. The water from the tap had a notice it was not potable and that is not surprising for many hotels in outlaying areas. There was a restaurant across the street and we were served a fine dinner by white jacketed staff. I recommend the restaurant but the name escapes me. Breakfast was OK and there are no complaints there. I don't know what there is to do in this town other than hang out at the beach. Many failed businesses line the main street along the beach and makes for a sad look. This place worked in a pinch but I would look elsewhere if I were to return.

Reviewed By alondram1230Las instalaciones muy bien el área de restaurante muy limpio y el área de la alberca también, lo único en que quede insatisfecha fue del servicio en cuanto pregunte las tarifas de las habitaciones la señorita me interrumpió para contestar el teléfono y la verdad se me hizo una falta de respeto el estar presente y por atender el teléfono dejar de atenderme a mí pero en general las instalaciones son excelentes y su estilo rústico de los baños en el área de alberca me encantó en general el personal muy amable y atento, las chicas de limpieza amables y sonrientes y eso es muy bueno, el hotel es pequeño pero aun así es bonito y moderno aunque no cuenta con elevador pues no es tan necesario ya que son muy poquitas habitaciones a mi parecer es un hotel agradable como mencione al principio el área de restaurante muy bonita no logre probar la comida pero a simple vista se veía muy rica, en cuestión de la alberca y el chapoteadero muy limpia el agua y a su alrededor aunque solo fui unas cuantas horas me quede con ganas de hospedarme y ver que más a fondo las instalaciones y la calidad del servicio pero no me fue posible pero espero y en otro momento poder ir a pasa un fin de semana agradable en sus instalaciones con diseños bonitos.

The 2 jacuzzi's that the hotel have, are out of service both. The 3 pools completely dirty. It was not a good experience for me and for my family.

THE BEST HOTEL
Reviewed By Juan Diego AI been living secretly in this hotel since 1996, you might be wondering how i did this, well, I normally sleep in the bathrooms and I have all my stuff hidden in the trashcan (the trash can hasn’t been opened since 19960). I take a shower every now and then when the pool is closed so nobody can see me. I have a master key that I got when a maid "lent it to me" don’t worry no violence was used. I really like to live here because there is literally no one around me, is like I had the whole hotel for myself. By the way the food service is pretty good, there is always something laying around on the trashcan. Overall, this is a very good place to live freely and when I say free I mean FREE, so bring your friends or your family or whatever I don’t care. The only thing that you should always keep in mind is that the bathroom is mine so if you try to take my place I will punch you in the face. Alright boys that’s it for this review, I hope to see you soon here in the Hacienda Canada Rica 2.

Reviewed By BedlionBastante accesible y buen lugar, el precio vs calidad es bueno, sólo tuvimos una queja las chicas del aseo pláticando bastante fuerte desde temprano, no nos dejaron descansar. Las habitaciones limpias, sólo tienen dos almohadas. El resto bastante bien, ofrecen desayuno incluido que no tomamos.

Far from four stars
Reviewed By valdezCZChecking the pictures on the Internet one would expect relatively cheap but stylish hotel. But the hotel is far from declared four stars. Furniture in the hotel is old, it tries to look stylish but actually it has no style, old noisy A/C, miserable wi-fi connection and mediocre breakfast. The only pros of it is price and a small pool. Next time I would prefer another hotel and I would not recommend this one to my friend either.
