One night in Cieszyn

In my opinion very good hotel with exceptionally helpful personnel. I have chosen upgraded room and it has filled all my requirements but I know nothing about standard ones. The only minus is relatively long distance from Cieszyn's center (around 3km) but if you stay only overnight it is not a problem.

I was born in Cieszyn and frequently travel there to visit my friends and family. I am typically in Cieszyn at least once a year but this was my first time staying at the 3 Bros' Hostel & Apartments. I have to say that this place has exceeded my expectations.... First off, we were warmly greeted by the hostel manager- Adam. He was really nice, helpful, and full of useful information and recommendations. I booked the room with a private bathroom and my request for one queen size bed was accommodated without any issues. I believe we were the only guests staying at the hostel during our stay so it really felt like we had the whole place for ourselves =) It was quite, and peaceful. Room was great size but could use a closet or wardrobe to store our clothes and items, instead there was another single-size bed in the room that we used as our wardrobe and laid down our clothes there. There was a nice view from the room overlooking a little square and a church. Bathroom could be use some remodeling or small update- shower head could not properly be mounted to the wall but it had a great pressure and a hot water. I will certainly stay at that place again when visiting Cieszyn because it truly offered a great value for the money- spacious room, private bathroom, great shower pressure, very central location, yummy breakfast, fun living room for the common usage and super friendly staff!!!! My only concern would be staying there during summer time. July and August tend to be hot and I don't believe there is an air conditioning in that hostel so it might get quite hot...

Overall its great value for money being so close the centre of Cieszyn

Reviewed By Darrell S

Stayed for 5 nights visiting family in the area. This is good hotel for the price. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really good quality and lots of it - with a selection of breads/rolls, a large cold continental selection plate of meats & cheeses, or some hot food available. My favorite was the scrambled eggs - some of the best I've ever had. The bedroom and shower room were clean and spacious enough for us. The only small problem was we like to sleep with the window open and the rooms all face the train station which occasionally disturbed us. However, overall its great value for money being so close the centre of Cieszyn and its wonderful square. Well definitely be staying again when visiting family.

Tyle samo, bo dojść do wyjątkowej restauracji w innej części miasta. Pokoje ładne, czyste i wygodne. Stosunek jakości do ceny bardzo wysoki. Obsługa miła i pomocna. A do tego bardzo sympatyczna :)

Very basic in everything

Reviewed By Ainars B

We stayed there for one night on our way to Croatia. It's outdated, with very basic beds, extremely tiny shower room, noisy corridor doors. Breakfast was good when you got something - needed to wait at least 5 minutes even for butter, eggs, etc.

Split dumplings, had cabbage rolls and pork goulash on potato pancakes and the servings were large ( as we will be if we keep eating like this!!!) ? Loved this spot..... also it’s right beside “Little Venice” which offered a nice pre dinner walk ?

Had a hard time giving this hotel a 3 star rating, poor experience

Reviewed By Lisa D

This "hotel"l was tough to review. On the one hand, it is very close to the town center (which is where we needed to be), was clean, quiet, and affordable. It felt more like an upscale hostel than a hotel to me, but was adequate. On the other hand, even armed with the knowledge that the hotel was hard to find, we had what can only be described as a stressful nightmare finding it. The problem was that we were running behind schedule, arrived after dark, and received a call from the hotel employee on duty around 19:10 that she was leaving at 7:30 p.m. (19:30) regardless of whether we were there or not. She did not speak english, but even with a fluent polish speaker in our group, her directions were not clear. The hotel is not visible from any road- ANY ROAD - but located up a hill BEHIND a beautiful old building that is used for other purposes as well, such as classes. When we arrived where we thought we were supposed to be, the fences/gates that would have allowed us to drive our bags up the hill closer to the hotel entrance were locked and we therefore couldn't drive up the steep hill. We had to park in a public lot at the bottom of the hill (where we weren't sure if we were allowed to park all night), and had to carry our suitcases up a very steep hillside wooden staircase because the elevator was broken. It looked like it had not worked for some time. I thought that we would arrive too late and be locked out or unable to check in, so I was running around the place looking for the entrance. When we found it, it was clear that the woman had already left for the night, although she did leave the front door of the "hotel" open for us to enter, and the room key out on the counter with no note or explanation. In the morning, we had to leave on the earlier side - around 09:00 - and there was nobody there to check us out so we left the key at the front desk and went on our way. The room itself was very basic and did not include soap/shampoo, but did have a couple of clean towels thankfully. The beds were uncomfortable but again, it was clean and adequate for one night. There are no amenities (no breakfast, elevator, night employees). If we would have arrived earlier before it was dark or before the gates up the hill closed, or before the employee had left, things might have been more pleasant all around. But that is not what happened, and this experience ended up very stressful in a number of ways. And I am a frequent, avid traveler who knows how to navigate. If you don't have a problem with any of the things I've mentioned and feel confident that you will find the hotel, then go for it. I would not stay here agin, nor would I ever let someone I know stay here, but I have rated the hotel as "average" because it gets the job done if you can locate it.

This small cozy hotel, situated directly at the international route A1, leading from Warsaw, via Katowice and Bielsko to the Czech Republic, is a dreamed of place for a break in journey. Therefore, we are often visited by people travelling on business or vacationers going to Italy or Austria. In the hotel, Guests are offered a restaurant, furnished in a modern style, which serves the traditional Polish and regional cuisine, a cocktail bar, and in summer - a beer garden and grilled dishes. An attraction in our menu are home made baked goods. We welcome orders for various kinds of business and private in camera events. The strong points of our hotel include a competent, nice and discreet service staff which feels the needs of our Guests, affordable prices, good cuisine and the presence of a fuel station - the last one before the border.
