A great place to stay : quiet, friendly and eco-conscious
Reviewed By Erwan LI have really enjoyed staying in that Pousada Aruana! The atmosphere is laid back and the people are nice and helpful. The bungalows are conformtable and the garden is really pretty and well maintained. We are right in the middle of the nature and I have also like the delicuous breakfast ;)

Reviewed By Robbie_assisA nature surrounded property that makes you feel the chapada mood. However, the infrastructure is still to be improved (beds are uncomfortable, the pool was empty, and the sound isolation from room to room is quite bad! We got a bad lucky that our neighbor use to sleep with tv on!). Overall, the hotel is very good, nice breakfast and the staff are very helpful. Good experience.

Lovely hideaway off the stressful cities
Reviewed By Frederik HWe stayed here for a weekend in July 2017. It was planned as a weekend gate-away from the noise of Brasilia, and we were absolutely amazed by the tranquility of this place! To say it upfront: the pousada has neither Internet nor TV, and the mobile phone connection is poor. We knew this upfront. And to be very honest: wifi and tv is the last thing I need when I travel into the nature. Those who want full connectivity in such a beautiful spot will never be able to enjoy all the amazing views and nature details. Your Instagram and Facebook will survive a few days without you :) it will be worth it! We booked the special cottage with a little garden and bathtub. The cabin is very spacious with a large bed, sitting area and a big bathroom. It is relatively new and was well maintained. The garden is small but practical and has a nice bathtub with whirlpool function. Especially in cold evening this is an enjoyable place to enjoy the cold air and watch the sky! You are in the nature after all, so expect mosquitoes around you. The breakfast is good with sufficient options, the waiters even prepare fresh tapioca and eggs upon request. We walked to the water stream on the property, I wouldn't call it a real waterfall but it is definitely a very nice stroll for a morning tour and you have many possibilities to swim and refresh. A lovely trail through great nature. Overall we were very satisfied with the stay. Only point I thought about afterwards is that the price level seems a bit on the high side, both for the cabins and also for the restaurant on site. I definitely think this is the best Pousada in Calvacante to stay for a weekend and I believe it is well known, and you end up paying for a bit of the marketing. The city of Calvacante has many nice restaurants at a reasonable price level, I would recommend trying some of them as well!
