Reviewed By MarceloPaduaLocated in a restricted area, all the nature around is preserved and we really can experience birds and other small animals near you (you can see them from your window). Near to airport (5 miles) the facilities are very good, the rooms are very spacious with a balcony where you can admire the nature. The restaurant has very good food with local dishes that can be tasted besides the bar near the beach and the other near the pool. If you want to relax with your family, or honey moon, that's the place in Bahia!

Welcome to the 3 Star Hotel Pousada Rancho Fundo. The Hotel is under european mangment and close to the international airport (12km) of Salvador da Bahia, located in Vila de Abrantes. Just 2 miles to the fabulous beaches from the cocontu palm coast. We have 10 individal rooms. English speaking staff and offer tours and sightseeing. Ideal to discover Bahias beaches and citys. If stopover Salvador, discovery of the baian nature, or just to leave the winter behind and enjoy the brazilian summer. Enjoy our beautiful atmosphere. We are looking forward to having you with us
Idyllic place, but a bit far out
Reviewed By stork_and_koalaWe wanted to get away from it all and we certainly did so by choosing Rancho Fundo. It is located in Vila Abrantes just between Salvador and Praia do Forte. The pousada itself is at the end of a dirt road 2.5km from the nearest beach. The place is lovely on a big ground, with nice garden, pool etc. The rooms are spacious and of european standard. The downside here is the remote location. You can reach all the beaches and nearby restaurants by bus, but we feel that having a car would be best thing to do in this case. Also the barking dogs can be pretty annoying at night, although this was not always the case.

Nice amenities for the price
Reviewed By WintersR4beachesWe stayed here for a week while doing a Habitat for Humanity build. The room had a fridge, desk and a good sized closet. Considering the advertised price it was surprising to find toiletries in the bathroom like a comb, shower cap and a decent bar of soap with good thick towels and a nice hot shower. The fan in the bathroom was extremely noisy but you didn't have to turn it on. The bed was comfortable with plenty of light for reading. Our room was close to the elevator and you could hear it whistling to a stop. Luckily it quieted down at night so we never had a problem sleeping. The hotel had a decent exercise room although one of the weight machines was broken. The pool had a lap lane and a bigger sitting area. There was a nice table on the pool deck and plenty of chairs. The free breakfast was good with many choices. Our group of 12 ate dinner in the restaurant but waited over an hour to get our orders. Not happy about that! The location was good. It was right across the street from a large supermarket to buy snacks and drinks. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.

Only meant for those on a tight budget. Not a place I would visit again as they can't even get the check-in process correctly

O referido estabelecimento fica localizado em Monte Gordo que além de ser bem arborizado e bucólico, está há 10 minutos da praia de Guarajuba. No amanhecer tive a agradável surpresa de ser despertado por orquestra de galos e pássaros. O jardim interno e a piscina de cascata completam a beleza do lugar.

AGUA FAZENDA by lawns, has few rooms, all with maximum comfort and an excellent restaurant, breakfast and dinner with products of the ranch itself, well-trained professional staff of good, the sea is 900 meters.
