A great disappointment
Reviewed By Felixo37I made reservation for this hotel for 24th-26th August, 2021 but on getting to the hotel at about 4:30pm on the 24th of August, 2021, I was informed by the reception that even though I had a reservation, there is no room for me as the hotel is fully booked. Meanwhile, I made my reservation about 3 weeks before my scheduled travel date and I did not receive any message that my reservation has been cancelled. You can then imagine my disappointment. My disappointment increased when Hotel.ng the online booking firm that I made the reservation through called me a day later to find out how I am enjoying my say in the hotel. They said that the hotel confirmed my reservation and never got back to them on any issues. This is a big flaw in management which will definitely affect my use of the hotel in future or recommending it to any one.

For a new property, the state of their rooms leave a lot to be desired
Reviewed By SpirodesiSpent the last 2 nights in this hotel. For a hotel I was told opened only last year, they certainly need to look at their maintenance culture. The tap head in the room I stayed in was already dislodged, the shower is a mere trickle and you can not get hot water from it. And I was on the ground floor where the pressure should be high! Certainly not my preferred option if I revisit the town

Reviewed By Angel WNo far from Onitsha or Awka , with live music in the evening its certainly a place to relax and enjoy a hotel in Ogidi town. Try the Grilled Fish , always worth it... Multiple display of TV to watch your favourite football team with great atmosphere to bask in.

Could be better with better management
Reviewed By Victor OThis is a big facility with the potential to entertain, relax and impress travellers but they have appear to have problems with management. I stayed at the annex which is a new facility. But it would appear that whoever fixed the furniture including doors was never supervised. The doors don't close properly but you are told not to worry because you are safe. Actually you are safe, but except you believe you can't stay over one night there. There's a swimming pool which I could never use becuase I wasn't sure of it's neatness. The poolside bar is nice, providing opportunity to hang out at night. And the goat meat served with vegetables is a delicacy there. Generally their goat meat is fantastic, washed down with some bottles of drink - whatever you choice. And then, there is the red light district on the other back of the hotel. Just go have the experience, I won't explain further. But you'll find a whole street filled with bars, lounges, night clubs and restaurants some offering live-music at night. I was surprised to see such in Awka, but it is there.

Reviewed By uripaguri00Luxurious hotel located in the heart of Anambra that hosted the stay of my missus and I during festive Dec 2021. The receptionist, and all workers included were nice and proactive with any issues we experienced. Our room was extremely comfortable with excellent affordable food served in the bar downstairs for the times we were too lazy to go out to eat. I recommend Golphins Hotel and Suites to anyone looking for a a friendly environment to lodge near Awka, Anambra. I cannot wait for December 2022 ?.

Delightful
Reviewed By kiraokeke2994Sincerely, one of the best hotels in Anambra; very cozy, very welcoming and great customer service. The rooms are very big and at affordable rates, there’s always electricity...really can’t say anything negative about this place. It’s my go to whenever I’m in awka!
