Good business hotel in the city
Reviewed By DR_JLF22Located far from the beach, within a shopping mall parking lot, the hotel is exclusively for business, not specially suited for someone on vacation wanting to know the city. With that purpose in mind, it serves well their objective: a clean, spacious room with good quality sleep. No luxuries whatsoever, just your basic installation but enough for a few nights. The option of the mall close by allows you to have places to eat or shop. Breakfast is plentiful, better than the average food in other hotels in this chain. Internet speed was terrific, also best in its class. The only downside was the windows are not completely sound proof and you get some noise from the busy avenue in front of the hotel. As there are only 4 floors, no way to get a higher floor.

Good value budget holiday hotel
Reviewed By Chris SRoom was basic and a bit tired but for a holiday hotel it was OK. (It reminded me of package hotels in Spain in the early 80's). It was well located for vacation experience with beach opposite the hotel. Buffet breakfast was good. Restaurant was variable. Sometimes very good and sometimes less so. Restaurant service could be very slow. Swimming pool was good but filteration system was not paticular;y effective resulting in scum build up on the tiles that had to be manually cleaned a couple of time a week. Amongst the hotel staff english is not widely spoken but the staff were very good and helpful.

Reviewed By Heloisa RBeach front hotel. Friendly staff. Large room, but it should have more hangers. There was just one in the bathroom, and we needed at least two, and another near the sink. The adjoining restaurant is good, but pricey. It offers a special menu for guests. They charged a small tourism fee per day. It covers the cost os maps and leaflets. I paid the fee, but noone offered us a map when we checked in. The hotel is about 15 minutes away from Orla de Atalaia.

Reviewed By WAVANCINIWe were aware it was a simple hotel although we expected the conditions to be a little better. Hotel shower clogged and no hairdryer in the bathrooms . Here starts the problem. The hotel offers to the guests a hairdryer if you ask for it at the reception. Well for 3 days my wife could not use it because it was always busy. When she asked when it would be available they could not tell because they do not control the customer name or room using it, so people can just keep it for as long as they want even if they are not using it. The only good thing about it is the location but I am not staying here ever again

Reviewed By LSU77The hotel looks new, very well located. The staff is friendly and helpful (5 stars!!!). Breakfast was okay, extra fee paid at the counter. There is a free parking garage at the hotel. Great choice for a short trip. Room feels really small, no refrigerator and not even a phone.

Really big Shane because they are very nice people.

DON’T STAY AT POUSADA ENCANTARE
Reviewed By 414mar_liamDON’T STAY AT POUSADA ENCANTARE The room was terrible (needed repairs and was uncomfortable), the staff wasn’t friendly, the breakfast was lacking. For the price they charge there are several better options (and cheaper)! I don’t know if the previous reviews are fake or if Covid hit this place hard but definitely DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TRAVEL TIME IN THIS!!! Huge disappointment, I regret not changing to another hotel. We opt for paying way above the average price to be in a “charming” place and choose ENCANTARE because of it great reviews but what we got was the complete opposite. The room was awful, the window was broken and there was mold on the walls and ceiling, the linen and towels where low quality, and the room had a view for the external bathrooms, I immediately requested to change room and staff say they didn’t had anything else available and did zero effort to try to make our stay a little less uncomfortable (I mentioned it would be noisy because the window was broken and the room was street level and the receptionist Josi said it was super quiet, guess what? It was super noise the whole night and most of it was cause by the own encantar staff maneuvering the cars ate the parking lot. On the second day the remote control for the ac broke we requested help and they gave us another control and told us to reset the machine and configure it (what?!) and it didn’t work so we just had to sleep in the heat. The breakfast was a huge disappointment, the complete opposite of all the reviews, there was no one taking care of it and we had to walk to the reception to let them know the basic stuff was missing, like coffee or butter, and there was no options available. The location towards the sights is good but the actual placement is awful it faces the back of a building in a dark street, we actually drive pass it when we arrived and couldn’t believe it was it (important to point here YOU CAN NOT see the beach from the pousada). Also there was no covid measures in place, no temperature check, no extra cleaning, the only thing was a sticker in the entrance telling guest to wear a mask but no even staff would respect it. Really this was such a bad experience, you can stay at Ibis at a better location for half the price, or Hotel Simas which is beach front, looked way better and also cheaper, there are a lot of better options... I feel fooled by this inn since I exchanged messages with them for several days when making the booking and didn’t had a clue I was getting such a bad deal, it actually made my stay in Aracaju way worst then it had to be.
