Nice stay
Reviewed By N884ZL_Me and my husband stayed at this lovely place for 4 days. It is nicely located in the heart of the forest and the only sounds you can hear are the birds songs and the river passing nearby. We had really peaceful and close to the nature stay. The hosts are great, so polite and nice, they cooked for us every day so delicious meals with herbs from the forest and homemade products. We highly recommend the place and we would definitely stay there again. It was a real pleasure for us!

Reviewed By Istankov1975Small, clean and comfortable hotel. The young property owner family was very friendly. Also the husband is a good cooker, so every evening he surprised us with something hand delicious. I strongly recommend this place for relax and as exit point to mountain Stara Planina, central zone.

Good for un-fussy Bulgarians
Reviewed By alexandrXmas87We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and our group had 3 rooms. Let's start things off with the good things. The hotel is very clean, well built and decorated. In terms of appearance it really does punch above it's weight class. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, some offer a good view, that you can also get from the rear terrace. The staff is friendly and eager to help. This is a nice place if you just want some quite time away from the noise of the city. Sadly, that is where the good part ends, and I continue with what...can and should be improved. First off, the staff only speaks Bulgarian. We only found one young man at the reception that spoke some English. When he was not around, we really missed him. Even though we visited at the end of Spring, it was apparently too cold for the pool to be opened. Not only that, but the surrounding grounds were in great dissaray. But apparently it was hot enough for the heating to be turned off. That's right, no temperature control, just more blankets. The restaurant only works in the afternoon, except when it doesn't. The breakfast was quite frugal. As for lunch, I ordered some pasta carbonara that were lumps of pasta drenched in a sauce with no taste and parmezan on top. Worst pasta I have ever had. The cake I had for desert was basically some balls of cream cake. No cake, just the cream. Just go and eat at the restaurant near by. That is actually the only other place you can eat. It's not anything spectacular, but much, much better than the hotel restaurant. Although it claims to be a 3 star hotel, there are no bug nets, no mini fridge, no temperature control, almost all TV channels are in Bulgarian, there are no chairs in the rooms. The one thing that we found most annoying, was that we asked if we could exchange one of the rooms, for any other room with a view, and the girl at the reception said it was possible only by upgrading to another room. The thing is, there were other regular rooms with a view, considering we were the ONLY ones staying at the hotel. The next night, 4 more people arrived, but that was it. About 11 occupants in total, but no free rooms with a view. I would only recommend this hotel if you find it at a decent price, are Bulgarian, or are just really unfussy.

Quite bad attitude!
Reviewed By EmitovaI visited Svatovete as part of a group with children being on a chess tournament held in Aprilci. We spent 5 days at Svatovete. We were big group with 15 children, occupying every hotel room. We faced a really bad attitude from the owner/manager or the boss,not sure about his status, towards the children. He yelled at them and us and insulted us in a most ugly manner. Although there is a playground within the hotel, there was forbidden for the children to run, laugh and play. Some of the rooms were nice, but others were really dark and depressing. The pool's water was kind of oily, it smelled on dirt, rather than chloride, as every other pool. The children enjoyed it, but even after bath, their skins smelt not good. I never got into the pool.

Reviewed By 930stefkakBeautiful place,great location.There’s so much to do especially if you like hiking,horse riding and dip in the river.The hotel provides breakfast and there is a wonderful restaurant on the side of the car park.It feels like you’ve got everything you need on site.There is a swimming pool as well.The hosts and stuff were very kind and helpful .We enjoyed visiting this place so much that we’re coming back next year.Definitely recommending this hotel.

Reviewed By lyubaabThe place is very nice. You can relax in a big green yard, kids can play around and the hosts are very welcoming. There’s a forest and a river in the backyard with a volleyball net. Very good for working remotely and going for long walks. The nature around is really wonderful. Loved it!

Reviewed By Dan WWir hatten eine super Woche mit 6 Freunden im Hotel als Basis für Wanderungen im Zentral Balkan National Park. Es gab gute Tipps auf Deutsch. Dazu sehr leckere regionale Küche und authentische Balkan Atmosphäre. Die Zimmer sind funktional und sauber. Wir kommen bestimmt zurück :)

Reviewed By bernard dHôtel Panorama à Apriltsi Établissement situé en dehors de la petite ville, au milieu des arbres, jardin agréable et calme. Pas de piscine ce jour là. Parking. Chambre suite, sans chauffage, très froide, fuite d'eau dans la salle d'eau, rideaux pas suffisants, uniquement frigo. Petit déjeuner buffet simple mais acceptable. Personnel du petit déjeuner sympa. La chambre à besoin d'une rénovation.

disgusting attitude
Reviewed By R_tistic737I do not recommend this place. I made a booking via the website of Booking com around 4p.m My booking was immediately confirmed. Later on that day we had to go to a local police station in Teteven approximately 2hrs away because our car got almost stolen. I was worried that we would arrive too late at the property so called the owner to warn him. His reaction was extremely rude and arrogant. He literally started shouting at me that he did not have any available rooms for us and that he does not want to discuss what happened. I tried to explain that he should help us to relocate since these are the rules of Booking. He told me that he did not care where we would spend the night. He said it was not his problem since he sent me an email at 4.30p m to let me know I may not be hosted there. Meanwhile I was in the mountains, hiking with no internet access. He did not bother to call because my gsm number was not bulgarian. Obviously not bulgarian gsms are not ok but not bulgarian money is ok. And this is not all. Next day I got a message from booking com that the host has reported me as *no show*. His aim was not paying any commission to Booking com I have been waiting for a solution from booking.com since my transportation costs are refundable. Not any descent answer yet but believe me, not a good idea to be placed in a situation like that. Think twice before booking at this property
