fantastic hostel
Reviewed By holakrittyone of the best hostels we’ve stayed in! we were traveling as a couple so opted for private room. it was perfect! high ceiling, spacious, clean bathroom, charming windows. kitchen is large and available for use by guests. great dining room. sunny common spaces, pool, super helpful personnel, perfect location. super recommended!

Cosy property in the heart of the Historical Center. Located at the most charming street of Sao Joao del-Rei, where used to be the red light zone until the 80's, and close to all the touristic and historical attractions. The house has 5 private rooms, shared kitchen, living room and an amazing terrace. It's walking distance from all the churches, museums, cinemas, coffee shops, bars, theatres and restaurants. Next to Largo do Carmo, where lots of traditional parties happen. AZ Hostel is 100m far from the bus stop, 300 from the train station and 1,5 km from the Bus Station. Rates includes breakfast, amenities and linning.
Amazing hostel
Reviewed By Ben_RC2013I stayed two nights at this hostel and felt like home. Flavia the owner looked after me like a mother, giving me directions, booking my bus and taxi rides, she speaks many languages. Good breakfast options in the cafeteria up the street, great chilling place up on the terrace.

Reviewed By ccteix2015Big , comfortable and clean. Staff very helpful and friendly, they have car to take you to the city center so you can go back using a taxi ! The view is amazing and very relaxing . The breakfast was yummy and they have also a tea in afternoon that is included

Reviewed By etboÓtima localização: perto da UFSJ - Campus Dom Bosco (3 minutos andando), da rodoviária (5 minutos andando), e do centro histórico (20 minutos andando). Quarto silencioso e limpo, embora bem pequeno; mobília espartana. Café da manhã básico. Pessoal super acolhedor. Os quartos ficariam bem bonitos com uma pequena reforma e mais cuidado pelos detalhes, sobretudo no banheiro. O café da manhã poderia ser mais variado, com pouco a mais (oferta de um cachorro quente e ovo, disponibilização de uma misteira/sanduicheira...).
