Reviewed By KimGeertsLocation is very good (close to historic town, which itself is further away from the bus station or airport), clean (also bathroom) and very friendly receptionists. Activities such as cooking club were nice to keep a good athmosphere, though there were majority russian speakers which made it very hard to socialize. When i was there, there were few foreigners. Good attempt from the hostel and this is out of their control however. Well mentioned on the website is that activities such as daytrips only take place with a minimum number of visitors. In my place i went on my own to Mir.

Reviewed By Georg FIt was probably one of the best alternatives one can find in Belarus. it had everything to make a simple backpacker's heart satisfied. although in many other countries it would probably be one of the poorer hostels compared to others.

Besides there are ATMs, a cinema and so on. Our hostel can accommodate 20 people a day. There are three spacious dormitories: an 10-bed mixed dormitory room which has a separate bathroom, a 6- bed mixed dormitory room and a 4- bed mixed dormitory room with a common bathroom in the hall. «Flatcom» Hostel has 24-hour reception. Our english- speaking staff will recommend you a place to eat and to explore, order a taxi, book tickets. We are at your service any time! We accept cash and credit cards (Visa, Maestro, MasterCard, AmericanExpress). If you travel by car, there are a lot of parking places available near the hostel.

Reviewed By cooker3000This is fine, nothing spectacular but it is 1 of cheapest places in Minsk. It is near the metro a few buses and a bunch of restaurants. The staff didn't speak English but use Google translate and you'll be fine.

Reviewed By 795glIt's about 2 miles from the Central Bus Station/Central Train Station. The Train Station is the hub of the city it appears. The city buses & mini buses leave from behind the Train Station (lower level). Take bus 4 and ride 7 stops. If you take a cab from behind train station it's 10 BYN. The hostess is nice but overwhelming. The hostel is CLEAN. YOU MUST REMOVE SHOES UPON ENTERING! They also have CAMERAS in the entrance FOYER, hall, kitchen and bedrooms. So they have you covered. They have 1 toilet room and one tub/shower roomhen is lacking sufficient cookware, knives and they provide no spices (most hostels provide salt & pepper). Also they have no toaster! That was a first for me also. It's not near any restaurants, so you have to visit a local grocery store about 10 minutes behind the building. There is another one & coffee shop 2 or 3 building towards the bus stop. It's a nice hostel.

Aveage hostel in great location but with some problems
Reviewed By Kev BI would have loved to give this place a higher rating but there were a few issues but I'll mention the good stuff first. The location is fantastic, its about as central as you could hope to get between all the major tourist attractions in the daytime and one of the main drinking and dining areas at night. The price was excellent too, the cheapest in Minsk on my visit. The facilities are functional, a small communal kitchen, a cozy common room, a 24-hour reception and a convenient rooftop area for smoking. The bad points: Lockers are limited and some rooms didn't have any, there were a few extra ones in the common room but most of those were hanging open with no keys. I felt the need to spend 10 minutes tidying the common room, clearing the bookshelves of years old catalogues and torn magazines and filling a bin with trash. You must remove shoes at top of stairs and its a sea of boots and shoes at night. Must you remove them for hygiene or is it because the walls to the rooms are so paper thin that no one could sleep if people walked around with shoes on along the wooden floors? The thin walls are also the reason that even a quiet conversation in the evening incurs a visit from reception telling you to keep quiet. The bedrooms are small. They've gone for the "As many beds as possible" approach. There was hardly any floor space in the 2 rooms I stayed in. Why did I stay in 2 rooms? Because they'd double booked our beds of course. We checked in at 9pm, left our stuff and went out. Came back in around 2 to find every bed in the room occupied and reception had to move us into a different room. after wandering around our first room in supposed disbelief as he didn't seem to believe it was possible despite other reviews commenting on the same issues. In summary, I hope they read the reviews because they need to sort out the locker problem ASAP, carpet in the corridors would really reduce the noise issues and double-booking beds is an issue with the computer system or staff training ans should be an easy fix. I would stay here again but I would hope that some of these issues had been addressed.

Respect your self and enjoy your stay in Minsk by not going to a place where they host drunken teenagers that carry all kinds of bad behavior and respect no one and when you try to reach out to Andre or anyone working there no one will stand up to help you you know why? Because they are having fun with these teens at 2/3 am waking every single person up with rage at this time. Next time I will try Hostel Point or Hostel Stary but definitely not this degenerate place where they are ready to call you a mot*** fu**** just because you asked them to lower their voices at 3 AM.

Reviewed By lineusWe spent one night in double bed room on the second floor next to the kitchen an bathroom. Location is superb, all main cathedrals are next door. Stuff is very helpful, reception is 24/7, kitchen is nice but shower and bathroom are not so good. Big supermarket is just 5 min walk. Overall it is decent value for money.

Great hotel with an excellent location
Reviewed By AlwinMinkWe arrived in the hotel with quite a large group of students and were received in a very friendly manner by the host lady. The rooms were large and clean, each with an individual bathroom. The accompanying wifi-signal was quite good and free-of-charge. The mattresses in the rooms were incredibly soft and we all slept like a baby. There were no payment issues and the host lady was very relaxed. My Russian is not exactly great, but she was very patient. The location of the hotel is amazing, in between the two highlights of Brest (the Krepost and the City Centre. I would highly recommend a stay in this hotel. (By the way, it is very cheap!)

We are located just 5 minutes walk from the train station and a 3-minute walk from the bus station. The hostel is centrally located on a pedestrian street Soviet. There you will find a wide variety of shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs. Sovetskaya Street is also a place of historical significance. Brest Fortress are within walking distance (12-20 minutes walk), that's why our hostel is the best placement for familiarization with the history of the city
Unfriendly and mean staff
Reviewed By AlienTraveller1978Why anyone would stay in a hostel? No hostel vibe. From the beginning the staff is disgustingly mean and rude and uninterested. I have to whereis the toilet? Can't they say when people checkin. There many things wrong . Overall not the place to be.
