We have 5 in our group who flew in from Toronto just after noon time for a 7-night cruise embarking the same day. With this tight schedule, we were looking for a private transfer which would allow us to make a stop at La Sagrada Familia for some pictures, as two of us have never been to Barcelona and would like to have a glimpse of this famous attraction. Xavier was very responsive to our initial inquiry and all follow-up emails and courteous in letting us fit this in our very tight time-frame and shown us a couple of landmarks without having to pay a lot more. Our flight arrived slightly earlier than scheduled and Xavier was almost there when we called. He is friendly and welcoming. His driving was excellent and we felt safe and comfortable. We also booked our return transfer from the cruise port back to BCN airport right after disembarkation. His partner, Roger, was also a very good driver. We will definitely use their service again if we return to this beautiful Spanish city in the future.

Send us a message if you're traveling solo. We need a minimum of guests. The purpose of this experience is to take you away from the hustle and bustle of Barcelona to let you enjoy the Mediterranean breeze As soon as we leave Barcelona we will immerse ourselves into the Catalan countryside. First stop is Calella de Palafrugell an ancient fishing village formed by several coves that still preserve the charm of the villages of the area with narrow streets and steep tiled roofs. In winter time we would love to combine this stop with another in a medieval village from the 16th century, Peratallada located 15 minutes away by car from Calella De Palafrugell, it will be like traveling back in the time! Afterwards we will head towards Figueres and the Dalí museum where you are gonna spend a couple of hours. This is not the typical guided tour where you just follow us like a duck family! We love to interact with people and we love to share stories and moment

Inclusions: Private transportation, Air-conditioned vehicle, Bottled water, Guided visit

Exclusions: Lunch, Tickets to the museum

The ancient walled city of Girona stands on a fortress-like hill, high above the confluence of the Onyar and Ter rivers. As the provincial capital it has a long and distinguished history. Founded by Iberians, the Romans later named it Gerunda and established it as an important stopping point on the Via Augusta, linking Iberia with Rome. The huge 15th century cathedral, boasting the widest unsupported gothic arch in the world, dominates the skyline, yet much of the city's attraction lies in exploring the mediaeval streets, especially around the charming Jewish quarter. You will be able to cross the Onyar River through the bridge built by Gustave Eiffel " Pont de les Peixeteries Velles" one of the most populat monuments of the city. This extensive visit (about 3 hours) will show you the most important monuments of Girona, its history, its Jewish heritage and also its Legends. Our guides are local guides who know all the secrets of the city.
