This star shaped memorial with all the 50 states wrapped around it is a tribute to the men and women, because women also died in WWII, who came here, faught here and ended their lives here so that the world would be a better place for everyone. As a soldier and has a daughter, whose Father fought here and returned, We should All honor our fallen. We came in winter to remember what it was like 75 years ago, in this cold winter days.

L'ancienne fonderie de cloches de Tellin vous ouvre ses portes sur réservation. Dans un lieu resté intact, venez découvrir le travail des maîtres fondeurs, l'art campanaire et la symbolique des cloches. La fonderie de cloches Causard-Slégers débute ses activités en 1832 et prend un essor commercial important grâce à la route de la diligence qui joint la France à l'Allemagne. Des milliers de cloches y sont coulées. Dans les années 55 à 60, la fonderie occupe plus de 35 ouvriers. Elle cesse ses activités en 1970 mais demeure le patrimoine campanaire le plus important en Belgique.

Beautiful place full of nice and cozy restaurants and nice Air B&B. Try to visit in a day where there are less tourist. Great all year around in the summer or snow! Taste their local beer.

The Megaliths House welcomes visitors who want to know more about them before they explore the Wéris area and its famous site of dolmens and megaliths. The megalithic site of Wéris is made up of 2 dolmens and about 30 menhirs, dated from the 3rd millennium BC. At the Megaliths House can you find a museum dedicated to Megalithism and the daily life of the Neolithic farmers-livestock owners. A shop offers books, brochures, maps for walking, postcards and souvenirs. In the cafeteria, with a terrace and snacks, you can try the Dolmenius local beer.
