I took my 8 year old and 6 year old to this gym on a Saturday. We love watching American Ninja Warrior on tv and were so excited to play on real obstacles! We traveled an hour to this gym because it was one of the only ninja gyms where the whole family could play together at the same time. Some gyms I looked into had specified times for children (some had to be 8 or 10 years old to even play), teenagers, and adults so you couldn't be together as a family. Arrival- very friendly staff! Upon entering the gym I was honestly overwhelmed and wasn't sure where to start. Thank goodness for Leo! He saw that we were wandering aimlessly and asked if we wanted him to guide us through the course. He was so thoughtful and spent so much time encouraging and teaching all of us through each obstacle. He made our whole morning wonderful! Con- be aware, Saturday mornings have a lot of parties. Arrive at opening so you can play before the parties start. During parties, only party members have access to the basic course. You still have access to the blob, trampoline, and more difficult obstacles. Once they have had their time and go up for pizza, you can resume the basic course. Obstacles- 11 and 14 ft warped wall, rope, wall to climb, bars, rolling thunder, hanging doors, salmon ladder, balance log, the flat doors hanging above your head, pegboard, grip obstacles, and some other obstacles that were way to hard for me (but fun to try)! Overall a bit pricey but so much fun for our family!!!

Visited with my husband during our recent stay in Pittsburgh, this place was amazing!! We had such a blast, much more fun than we expected. With our day pass, we got to take a yoga class in the morning and then do some climbing afterwards. We quickly discovered that bouldering was not as easy as we assumed it to be, but the community in this gym was so amazing, guest and regulars gladly helped us out and gave pointers. After deciding we needed extra support, we moved to the rock climbing/self belay area and staff was super helpful and thorough in explaining and making sure we stayed safe! If you are visiting Pitt and looking for something active to do, I highly recommend!!

I really enjoyed this venue for the national tournament we've attended. Clean facilities, food options, a store with some athletic apparel... Although, some complain about parking, I found it well organized. An attendant not only explained the directions to the occupants of every car, but also handed out typed up instructions. We haven't used the arcade, climbing wall or other parts on the facility, but overall, pretty impressive.
