It was our 2nd trip to Rockport when my husband & I stumbled upon Carol Lee's Cottage. I got attracted to a tunic dress displayed outside, which I ended up buying and my husband also got me a Rockport canvas tote that is sturdy, unique and very functional. Carol Lee's shop is filled with unique and OOAK items that you won't see in every store so this visit to Rockport alone is worth the trip. She also has a online presence if you would like to place orders. However, it is still worth your time to go visit as Rockport itself is filled with places, views, beaches, restaurants etc... to keep you occupied and entertained.

A cook’s, hostess and foodie lovers fun shop. Very high-quality and unique gifts for cooking, serving and creating food. Beautiful and coffee table worthy cookbooks, exquisite Japanese bowls, variety of interesting hot sauces, Olivewood spoons, and stress relieving kitchen floor mats are just a few of the delightful things in this shop. This shop also has the best view of anywhere in the area. Walk out onto the outdoor balcony for a breathtaking view of the harbor in motif #1.

Gloating Lotus really stands out as the most interesting shop in Bearskin Neck, or even in Rockport in general! You can tell the owner (Justin) selects the fair-trade hand-made items in the store with love and conscience. If you are at the store, please do not forget to go up to the second floor! We were really lucky as the store owner Justin happened to be there and he was demonstrating playing all of the really precious Tibetan prayer bowls that he collected! It was quite an amazing treat! Highly recommend and we would definitely return!!

An artist owned shop filled with colorful and whimsical gifts for all ages. We created the picture book "A day in Rockport", and evocative tour of our charming seaside village, as well as numerous cards and prints. We also sell supplies to create your own images and crafts, come in and be inspired!
