Imagine being surrounded by art in the formation stages - from small to 8 ton pieces - from sketch to final sculpture - and guided by one of the owners of this foundry, Jeffery Spring, through every step. This is a total immersion experience that demonstrates the "Lost Wax Method" of sculpture casting. Ah the smell of hot wax and molten bronze, the sounds of forming, shaping, and finishing. The highlight is the actual pouring of molten bronze into large molds - magic.

I had a chance to visit Yant studio in Forest Hills. The staff is friendly and the space is absolutely gorgeous. It very bright and clean. It is fun to walk around Austin Street and visit the studio to get a whole new appreciation on Tattoo.

I feel my "friend" Nick's review is pure BS. This is one of the most honest shops ive ever been to. I hold all comic shops to their standard. If they messed up, they would fix it somehow! One of the greatest shops in the country! If youre in NY visit them! AMAZING staff and well stocked (the shelves not the staff lol)!
