Our entire crew live for the snow and were the best UK shop team at the British Championships in 2013 and 2014, winning the most medals across the board! The latest in touring skis, split-boards, snow shoes and cross-country equipment are all available for rent and purchase at Tignes Spirit. We offer daily rates so that you can rent different equipment for each day of your holiday... if you want to! We have the latest in children's ski and snowboard equipment, stocking skis as small as 70cm, along with 70cm snowboards used for the Burton Riglet programme. (All children receive a free helmet as part of their package.) Tignes Spirit is the only rental service to offer outerwear and protective clothing hire to chalets and apartments all over the Espace Killy area. Based in le lavachet, our shop doubled in size in early 2014, so we are now able to give a quality service to even more people at any given time! Our opening hours are 7am until very late, ensuring that all clients are catered for. You need not worry if you are delayed way beyond the closing time of most rental shops and need to be kitted out before the panic of ski school start times the next day. We will ensure that you and your entire party are kitted out and can enjoy maximum slope time. Our workshop is also based in Tignes le lavachet, just down the steps from our main shop. As well as servicing our large rental fleet, we provide repairs and servicing to anyone who wishes to give their plank(s) some tender loving care! 2nd year hiring from Tignes Spirit in Lavachet. We are a family of four with two young kids (6 and 3) and we cannot recommend this shop enough. On entering the staff were super friendly and engaging and the kids had a super time getting kitted out by the obviously experienced and knowledgeable staff. All gear was high quality and in great condition and we received follow up emails and texts asking us if everything was okay with rentals and if we needed any assistance with anything. On returning our gear the kids hounded us for a super cool Tignes Spirit hoodie - we relented! We will definitely use Tignes Spirit again next year and highly recommend to anyone seeking a hassle-free and positive ski hire experience.

Hired skis here staff friendly spoke good English. Skis were good Upgraded in the week no bother as pistes had a mass of new snow absolutely no problem. Fair price . Right next door to our hotel. Merci

Arriving in Val Claret for a week's summer skiing on Grande Motte glacier, we set off on a tour of the half-dozen or so ski hire shops within a five minute walk of the Rond Point des Pistes where we're staying. Deep Snow was the first we went into. Greeted with a big smile by Frank and Isabel, I was immediately impressed with how they assessed the ski and boot needs of our mixed-ability party. Deep Snow has wide range of quality skis and boots, all apparently in excellent condition. Frank and Isabel carefully selected the correct size of boots for our two young débutante skiers, and showed them exactly how to put their boots on and adjust them. It was convenient to leave our skis and boots in the shop. Each morning we were greeted with a friendly smile and our kit was placed just outside for us. It seemed Frank was looking out for us each time we returned from the Funiculaire, taking our skis and boots off us at the door. I have been skiing for nearly 40 years in French and Austrian ski resorts, and I am pretty sure I've never encountered a more professional, caring and friendly ski shop. We didn't bother walking around the other ski-hire shops. I even considered (briefly) applying for their ski technician post for the coming season.
