It is located in the western part of the island of Java and its capital and largest urban center is Bandung, although much of its population in the northwest corner of the province live in areas suburban to the even larger urban area of Jakarta, even though that city itself lies outside the administrative province. A huge park located deep inside Cipanas, Puncak. This park has several themed gardens which can be enjoyed just by gazing to it. Getting around is fast and easy with their paid shuttle bus but for the best experience just walk through it. Several paid activities such as the miniature train, mini jeep ride, horseback ride, and so on. Make sure to visit the park landmark such as the observation tower and the maze. The park is well maintained. There were no litters spotted, the staffs seemed to take cleanliness very seriously here.

When i joined Bogor Half Marathon Race last week, i spent my last 5k running here at Bogor Botanical Garden. It was nice running here with fresh air, beautiful scenery and lots of green. Love the big old trees around the gardens and their beautiful heritage building, "Istana Presiden Bogor" with some cute deers at the yard. They also have a beautiful cozy old hotel inside the garden. (Someday i love to stay there). So, it's a nice place to visit when you stay at Bogor. Good place for refresh your mind, body and soul. It's perfect for enjoying "me time" jogging or walking there or having fun with your beloved ones!!

A great alternative than the usual mall to spend quality time with family or friends. Aside from the great & instagramable spots, you can also purchase flowers & fresh produce from the grounds. The toilets are clean and the staff are very friendly & helpful. They close around 5 PM, so be sure to come early to get the whole experience. The place is quite full on the weekends -- as all places in Bandung :)
