I was staying on Flinders St within walking distance of Anzac Park and came across the bright lights at the fountain as I was coming down Wickham St. The fountain is the centrepiece of the park. It was a magical place and I spent a while mesmerised by the light show. The colours change from red to blue to green, even rainbow. There is also a gazebo inside the park and I met a friendly possum there who seemed fine with humans. Well worth a stop off after dark.

Had a great night playing the Pandora’s Peril room. Have played a few rooms before in Sydney and Brisbane and this is as good a room as we’ve played. Excellently designed room with lots of puzzles to get through. Impressive theme and atmosphere in the room. We found it quite difficult actually and whilst I don’t claim to be any sort of expert at escape rooms, I wonder how anybody manages to finish in time. So good luck and be prepared to take hints, which conveniently flash up on a tv near the room entrance, that also displays your timer. Staff were friendly and informative. Listen carefully to their briefing, they are very knowledgeable about their rooms and specific difficulties previous players have faced. No overtime was allowed, but then, we were on the last session of the evening so fair enough everyone wanted to go home anyway. Waiting room was comfortable and also well designed with a professional vibe. Will definitely be back for the other room soon, and also looking forward to a THIRD room that we were told is coming soon.

I saw an advert for Warrina cineplex in the local paper so I gave it a try. It’s cleaner than most cinemas. Tickets and food are good value. The clearly posted standards of dress & behaviour mean that everyone can have a good experience. I will be going back once blockbusters are being released again.

Head down and try some rock wall climbing, it's great fun for all ages. They hold climb-fit, aerial silk, yoga, and other sessions for different age groups. These are run by professional, informative instructors. Staff are friendly and very helpful. You don't need to book in to a session, try it on your own. If you get tired of climbing then relax with a game of table tennis or try out the slack lining. You will need to complete a waiver before starting and must wear socks and shoes. They do have rock climbing shoes for hirer if needed. Hours vary during school holidays. Check out their website for more information. I will be recommending this place to family and friends.
