Swallows Welcome Art Studio

Swallows Welcome is the art studio of local watercolour artist Patricia Negus. Browse through her colourful garden or admire Patricia's Artwork. You are welcome to view Patricia's 102 watercolour paintings of more than 500 South-West Wildflowers on permanent exhibition in the mudbrick Chapel of the Flowers. Patricia also stocks and sells all of the publications of Cape to Cape Publishing. Sadly, winemaker Tim passe away in early 2017 so we no longer make wine. We have now sold all of our wine stock. Patricia now uses the winery space to display more of her work.

Love watching the foreshore transform. It's such an amazing space to spend a day, with the pirate ship playground, restaurants, of course the beautiful beach and now the Shelter brewery to enjoy. Something for everyone and so family friendly. Love spending our summer days here with the family.

We spent a few hours at A Maze’n Margaret River and enjoyed ourselves immensely. The maze is fantastic and the best in Australia that we have been in. The other activities are fun, and we enjoyed a very competitive chess game that lasted 30 minutes in the beautiful gardens. We finished off with Simmo's ice creams and chatting to the very friendly staff in their cafe. Highly recommend this maze for all ages. ps Night time by lantern in the Maze would be awesome

Simmo's Icecreamery

Delicious ice cream, well maintained grounds and facilities including mini-golf and a playground for kids. Lots of grassy space for the kids to run around. My only nitpick is they knocked down half the large wooden playground.

Margaret River Rotary Park

Spent a lazy hour here while the kids played then ate a picnic lunch. Lots of exercise equipment (that the kids enjoyed playing with too), plus swings and fairly new adventure playground equipment. There are also walking trails into the bush. Set amongst beautiful tall trees next to the river, and very accessible right on the edge of town.

An old style mini golf with 18 holes outside and some retro games inside including air hockey for $1/$2 each. We had a round of golf for $5 each person and two air hockey games ($2 for one game). A beautiful location next to the Wilson inlet and the Colour patch cafe. Friendly staff. We will definitely come back again.

The targets vary in difficulty and have multiple distances for you to shoot from. Our prices including equipment rental, and discounts apply if you prefer shooting with your own gear (poundage limits do apply). Don't want to shoot at a target? Why not shoot your friends! Archery Tag is a combat based sport, kind of a mix between dodgeball and paintball (without the paint - or bruises)using foam tipped arrows. Enjoying the park atmosphere? Stay for a round of our 9 hole mini-golf course or burn off energy with high intensity activities in The Fun Zone! This area is all day play and houses our bungee run, gladiator ring, snooker ball and the 5m tall inflated slide! The Fun Zone does hibernate during winter so please check before your visit. We have drinks and ice-creams on site but feel free to bring a picnic (or order delivery!).

The young owners are knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic. I (76 years old) had never shot a bow before though my adult sons had. Time was taken to fit us with the most suitable bows and we each shot half a dozen arrows under encouraging and helpful instruction. The ten stations, each a different length, offer a pleasant stroll through the peppermint trees and we three had the best time on a quiet afternoon. It might be a bit less enjoyable on a really hot busy weekend. The only other possible drawback are the mosquitoes, which love the shade of the peppermints, but insect repellant is supplied free.

What Fun!!! We went on the first day of school holidays and my kids and I had a brilliant time! The facilities are great and clean, the food and service fantastic and the attitude of all the crew working there fabulous. It was the best way to kick off our vacation. A special mention to Jack who facilitated the Laser Tag. It was my son’s first time and you were so patient with him - the whole session was incredibly well co ordinated - Well done!!
