Almost hidden in the neverending string of various beach bars, rent-a-whatevers and other things that dot the coastline around the town of Hvar, the place can only be described as a Mediterranean beer garden, combining the beer made by the owners themselves - and Anna is an excellent brewer - with traditional snacks and, here and there, dishes. The APA made by them was flawless and in very good shape, something you do NOT run into frequently while island hopping, and the other taps were filled by classically nice Zmajska Pivovara beers, as this "semi-"season didn't give them impetus enough to brew more different things. The prices are as expected when it comes to Hvar, but unlike a lot of places (when it comes to beer), you get what you pay for! Definitely a must-visit if you're in Hvar - and if you're in, say, Amphora, and love beer, there's no excuse not to go here!

The historic walled city of Trogir, Croatia is located on a small island between the Croatian mainland and the much larger island of Clovo. Trogir is also located about 20 miles west of Split, Croatia on the coast of the Adriatic Sea (a very easy day trip from Split). The center of this small town has been named a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its Venetian architecture and many of its original 13th – 15th century buildings are still intact. I visited this impressive walled city with my wife on a Saturday in late October and really enjoyed it. While the number of my fellow tourist was annoyingly high, I still enjoyed walking around Trogir. The city is very compact, and it appears that a lot of people still live here. The medieval streets are tiny and wind all around the island (I got momentarily turned around a couple of times). Highlights of this town include the historic city center square, the Fortress Kamerlengo, the entry gates and the small Cathedral. The best part is just walking around the skinny roads that wind in every direction. The town seemed safe and there did not even appear to be any pick pockets around. Overall, I enjoyed touring this walled city and highly recommend it if you are visiting Croatia. The next time I would like to stay here so I could see it in the morning and evening when most of the day trippers are gone.

There is no spot on this beach that cannot look at least good in a picture. Excellent for a walk after the dinner, lots of points where you can get into the water, regardless the stones. Crystal clear water, marine life everywhere.

We enjoyed a good up hill walk here and amazing views. The park needs a little clean up, but it was definitely one of the best things we did when in Split.

The beach is very nice. We rent an umbrella and two sun beds for only 50 kn. If you do not enjoy very much the sun it has also a lot of trees and you can enjoy their shadows. is nice also that it is not a sandy beach and water is very clear with no waves due to the mini golf location. Very nice beach

What a beautiful ride on great roads, loads of switchbacks, amazing viewpoints, stunning vistas and the absolute cherry on top is the view to Zlatni Rat beach, Bol and over to Hvar from the summit. An absolute must.

We took a trip from Supetar, island Brac (9 of us; 3 adults, 1 teenager and 5 kids), first with boat to Omis and than with kombi via rafting on Cetina. Overall trip was great especially rafting; 3 hours of fun on beautifull river Cetina with cristal clear waters, amazing canyon slopes, refreshing swimming (water around 20 Celsius) and bunch of fun. Multiple small waterfalls are making it more interesting but nothing dangerous; it was fully suitable to kids (ages 7 to 10). After rafting we had just enough time for a quick lunch in old town of Omis. Boat trip back to Supetar was also enjoyable (kids searching to see dolphins and adults drinking a glass of vine).

Beautiful beach with not many people on it. The sea was heavenly blue! The beach is 30 min walk trough the pine woods away from the main, turist beach Pokonji dol. It is very much worth the walk!
