Blue Ridge Olive Oil Company

Reviewed By jamesbutler4 - Tampa, United States

My wife and I along with 4 friends spent a very romantic vacation in the Blue Ridge Mountains. We went into town to do some sightseeing and shopping, we visited the Blue Ridge Olive Company. This is a must stop, the personal were so knowledgeable and helpful. They throughly explained the health benefits of the different olive oils and other uses. We bought some spices and used them on our steak dinner and the states were the best.

They have everything from inexpensive stone trinkets for the kids to gorgeous 4-5 foot wood carvings and furniture. Plan to spend a bit a time looking. I missed a lot the first time and went back for a better look! My favorite store in Blue Ridge!

Long Creek Falls

Reviewed By amync1111 - Smyrna, United States

The drive in was the hardest part! The trailhead is 5+ miles down a narrow gravel road with many hazards. Once we got to the trail it was an easy and scenic hike ending with a beautiful waterfall where the kids played in the creek. It’s 2 miles out and back and was no problem for us and our five and seven year olds. There’s a little incline on the way in but nothing strenuous.
