The five of us got picked up an hour late from original start time. We waited outside for a while with the company saying that the guide was caught in traffic. 55 minutes was too long. This was a bummer. Another couple from a hotel were also picked up 80 minutes late. They missed breakfast waiting around early for the agreed time. Company send an apology. thankfully we did not have any plans in late afternoon. Guide extended the end time. He also bought small snacks for everyone to make up for late start. He was friendly and kind. Although my mom wanted more picture pause during the tour.

The best part of our visit to Barcelona! Mariana is very knowledgeable and charming, and the host wineries were delightful. After a warm welcome from Mrs. Ventura, we enjoyed an interesting Tour of cava cellars of Pere Ventura. Sonja was great guide. Tasting wines and pairings were quite good. At second stop, we met owner, Pere Ventura at Can Bas before tasing in his home. What a gracious host! Highly recommend Mariana’s wine experiences!

We always like to go on an organised tour of wherever we go for a holiday as it shows you all the main sites and with a good guide you get a great insight into the local culture and area. A large group of us met outside Costa Coffee in the Gothic quarter where we were organised into two groups and sent to get our bikes, 10 minutes later we were kitted up and ready to go with tour guide Kassidy, there were about 20 in our group. Around the Gothic area we were mainly pushing the bikes due to the volume of foot traffic, but we were soon on the road and taking in the sites. I won't mention every stop, but we took in maybe a dozen or so stops with our guide keeping us informed and always open to answer questions. Towards the end of the tour we stopped off for lunch, ,the particular place didn't interest us that much so we popped round the corner for something different. The tour in total took around four hours and flew by, if you can ride a bike you will be able to take the pace as it is very sedate with very few inclines and if you do lag behind the guides will wait. We paid around £60.00 for the two of us, which while not cheap was still worth it, great equipment, interesting tour and an informative friendly guide.

The gorgeous neighbourhood of Eixample is as much about delicious top-quality food as it is about architectural masterpieces. For this tour, we have carefully selected restaurants to share with you... and to make it super special we only run it on Mondays – a night notoriously difficult if you want to have a top-notch dinner in Barcelona (many restaurants take this as their weekly day off). Starting in Eixample Dreta (right), we walk by the gorgeous Casa Batlló, one of Gaudí’s exceptional works. We visit three food and drink establishments that we consider are among the best of the area (and the city!). You'll enjoy a welcome cocktail at a very old and elegant Art Deco bar, followed by two restaurants where we’ll experience different ways of understanding tapas... the one thing both have in common is plenty of truly excellent food. But what will surprise you the most is the quality and variety of the wine. These guys know what they’re doing... book now and don't miss out!

Inclusions: We will enjoy snacks/starters and plenty of tapas dishes and desserts throughout the evening., Drinks are included! Whether you fancy a beer, local wine, traditional vermouth or a cava we've got you covered., We make water available at each location, and if you'd rather not consume alcohol we can order something softer for you., Local, friendly, English-speaking guide

We have been on two Gotico tours and they were each excellent. Excellent tour guides and excellent choices of places to stop on the tour. We learned about and greatly enjoyed the food, drink, sights and tour guide commentary on our stops, the tapas, Barcelona and Spain. A few months ago we scheduled our third tour but this time the Poble Sec tour. However, we had to cancel and reschedule our visit to Barcelona and our TBT food tour because of the world wide COVID-19 outbreak. Michael provided outstanding support and insight into the Developing situation in Barcelona. After we decided to cancel, he provided excellent support in that process. We were very sad and disappointed that we could not make this visit to Barcelona and participate in the Poble Sec tour but we will make it.

My husband and I made the Private Secret Food Tour a week ago and it was amazing! The guide (a local) was so friendly and so happy, it was a pleasure to spend the day with him. We had the chance to test so many different foods, explore the quarter and learn about the history. Also we got a list with recommendations, so that we can still try out some of those amazing places Barcelona has to offer. Also with Covid, there were no problems. Every restaurant was open, the guide wore a mask all the time and kept the distance. Also the restaurants were quit empty which was also nice. Whenever it good crowded, we went outside! I can highly recommend the tour.
