Walhalla is an Amsterdam-based microbrewery and taproom, founded in 2016. Our mission is to brew the ales of the gods, bold and magical beers, thirst-quenching and pure. The area of City Brewery Radboud has been a brewery for a long time. The exact location of the current brewery was the place beer has been produced since 1591. It was brewed there for the people of Medemblik and its surroundings, and to supply to the ships. The local crafts brewery has a tasting room where all the beers can be sampled. Try Radboud beers right next to the barrels it's brewed in!

Distillery A. van Wees De Ooievaar was founded in 1782 and is still family owned today. We are the only distillery left that works with the techinique of fine distilling, a fact that is recognized by UNESCO. During a tasting & tour at our tasting room you learn more about the history of our distillery. You also get the chance to taste some of our finest spirits!
