I live in Lititz & visit this market at least twice per week. On Saturdays, John’s chicken bbq is fantastic! Best i’ve Tasted in Lancaster County! Chicken is well seasoned & flavorful & not over cooked or dried out as so many chickens made on a grill are. Get there by noon as the bbq always sells out early. In the market they sell a variety of fresh fruits & vegetables, most grown right there on the farm. I love to see my food growing right outside the door, when I shop! You can’t get fresher than that. They also sell a variety of Amish baked goods on Fridays & Saturday’s. The farm is family owned & run. I love being able to patronize my Amish neighbors. Prices are reasonable. Cash only! I love this place!

We cook like we brew...craftsmanship and quality in every detail. From our housemade sausage and cured meats, to locally made cheeses, fresh dough, on-site garden, hand-cut fries and signature burger grind, there's no substitute for fresh, natural ingredients. Fortunate to be located in the heart of Lancaster County, among some of the richest farmland in the world, we're committed to fresh, local and sustainably grown products. Our menu changes often to take advantage of the seasons, and to utilize the fresh produce, dairy, poultry, cheeses and meats produced on the 5,300+ independent, family farms in Lancaster County. Our obsession for brewing great beer is matched by our passion for great, natural food, so we source our produce and meats from local Lancaster County farmers and prepare virtually everything on our menus from scratch. We smoke our pork, grind our sausage and hand-cut our fries.

For our second visit we shared a flight of 6 beers, the short rib nachos, Bavarian pretzel and a mushroom pizza. Everything was fantastic and we even got some Double Chocolate Milk Stout to go. We love it here.

While my husband and I were shopping at the Tanger Outlets, we stopped in for a tasting. I picked to try their chardonnay and 5 of their dry/semi dry reds. Their dry reds were outstanding. I couldn't pick which one was my favorite. I took home a bottle of the Chamborcin and a bottle of the Merlot Reserve.
