Noble Cider

Given the current situation with the spread of COVID 19 and with the recommendations from our local health department, Noble Cider has decided to open The Cidery Taproom only three days a week for the time being. Thursday-Friday 3:00pm - 8pm, Sat 2pm - 8pm. Masks and social distancing are required. Only limited seating available. Our online store is still open at www.noblecider.com and gift cards are available for purchase for both locations in the meantime. Please stay safe and well out there. Check in with your friends, neighbors, and others in your community that may need assistance. We look forward to fully serving our community again once everything blows over!

I used to live right up the road and would visit Noble often. They have great activities, such as board games and dart boards to play while enjoying some cider. For the time bring, the inside is closed, but it was great to go back for a visit and place a Togo order. Their prices are great! We got a 64 ounce growler for $12! Can’t beat that. Every single thing I’ve tried has always exceeded my expectations and taste buds! I would highly recommend giving this place a visit if you’re in the Asheville area. The Golden Arrow flagship, my favorite, is light and refreshing and has a hint of ginger. The Spice Merchant has a hint of chai and is my other fave!

This was a fun visit for us! If you like craft cocktails, it could be a fun visit for you too. We had some samples of gin and vodka and drinks that were amazingly good. It is downtown and was super close to our hotel (the Cambria).

Wedge at Foundation

The Wedge at Foundation is located a mile upstream from Wedge Studios. This historic building was constructed by Hans Rees & Sons in 1898 to house what would become the largest leather tannery in the country. Today the Foundation buildings are very much a part of the River Arts community. The Wedge Brewery added its second brewery/tasting room in 2017 to expand with the River Arts neighborhood.

Wedge Brewing Company’s second location is a cool place to set up an second brewery. Wedge has some great tasting beers in a laid back location. It was my fist visit and I would be happy to return.

12 Bones Brewing

What goes better with great BBQ than amazing beer? Iconic local BBQ institution 12 Bones expanded in 2019 with their own brewery and taproom. Now you can visit the taproom and taste a variety of house-brewed beers to go with great Q.

We’ve been coming to Asheville for years, and 12 Bones in Arden has become a one of our favorite places in the area. This past year, it’s been one of a handful of places we’ve actually felt safe visiting during the pandemic, they take it very seriously. Their food and brews are top notch (my favorite is the smoked turkey sandwich with a Pineapple IPA). The staff are always awesome, and seem to remember us (and even what beers we like) even though we only make it there every couple of months. They’re also very dog friendly, which is awesome.

Cursus Keme

Reviewed By 568caseyd - Alpharetta, United States

We had two families with teens meet up at Cursus Keme while we were visiting Asheville. It was a little hard to find but totally worth it! The variety of beer was impressive and the quality was outstanding. The interior is amazing-the use of plants and natural decor to transform a metal warehouse building was highly effective. Beer lovers should definitely stop in and admire the tap, speak to the highly knowledgeable bartenders, and enjoy really good beer. Our teens enjoyed the vibe and we played card games to keep them busy but there was no food so I would bring some snacks for them next time.

Loved our visit to DSSOLVR, the beer is amazing, the music is good, and like most places in town, dogs are always welcome! The only "gripe" i would offer up is that they don't offer flights, but the beer and environment are all spot on. Great place to visit!
