October 25, 2021 Christa Meece

Sedona is a true oasis, a vacationer’s paradise in the middle of the Arizona desert. Here, you’ll find resorts and spas, canyons and red rock formations. Bell Rock and Oak Creek Canyon are great hiking spots, and the dramatic architecture of the Chapel of the Holy Cross is a religious experience itself. When the sun dips down below the horizon it introduces the best show in Sedona: the night sky.

Our driver, Bob was wonderful. Shared great stories about the eccentric characters and legends of the canyon. By the end it felt like we had made a new friend. I was particularly glad I didn’t have to do the driving on the 2 hour drive back. Totally worth it.

We had an amazing time on our private Grand Canyon tour. Chris was very accommodating of us. We started at 7:45 AM in Sedona and had a beautiful drive out to the Grand Canyon filled with great conversation & many interesting facts from Chris about the region. The van was clean, comfortable and spacious. The Grand Canyon tour was fantastic, we would not have seen as much had we driven there on our own. Chris optimized our time so that we had as much time as possible at the Canyon. Also the lunch was incredible, he somehow managed to get us a reservation at the El Tovar Dining Room! From start to finish a fantastic day that I would recommend to anyone looking to see the Grand Canyon.

**Private tour** This is a fantastic tour designed to focus solely on the Grand Canyon, the history, the geology, and the mystery. It's biggest advantage is less time spent on tour at stops along the way to obtain a shorter day at a more economical price. It's particularly better if a family has young kids. So we leave later in the morning and get back earlier in the evening. The tour includes the entrance fee to the park as well. The price of lunch is not included, and is the only dine in meal we stop for, bringing snacks is recommended. To experience this tour to its fullest, its best to start in Sedona.

Inclusions: Bottled water, Parking Fees

Exclusions: Lunch

Our tour with Chad was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Sedona. It’s clear why private tours are his bread and butter - he tailored the experience to me and my husband and made it so memorable and special. On top of that, Chad was so knowledgeable in the history, culture, geography and geology of the area - we learned so much! We had the absolute pleasure of experiencing our tour with Juniper the Adventure Puppy on his maiden voyage which added an unexpected and much appreciated element of cuteness and cuddles. Chad should raise his prices because I can’t believe we had such a great experience for so little money! Truly cannot recommend this tour enough!!
