Avoid this company! I fell very ill the day of the tour. I was aware of the cancellation policy. I had a high fever, headache and was concerned about my exposure to Covid. I text the company and asked could I reschedule for next month since the tour was 100 US dollars. They were kind enough to agree. I picked up another Guatemala to do the tour. After many texts, they were happy to take me on the tour. Then I received a message asking me for more money. It would be 200 US dollars for a three hour tour. We had established I would be back and they seemed happy to make up for lost time. I wanted to be cautious due to Covid. I have gone on tours all over the world. India, Peru, Columbia, NYC and Rome to name a few. This seemed suspicious. Save your money.

We are very happy that we were referred to Lee at Los Elementos Adventure Center by our AirBnb host. From the very beginning (even when our trip had to be postponed for a year due to the pandemic), Lee was very responsive, kind and helpful. We ended up spending a day trip going from Panajachel to the Solola market. We also took a short hike and had a picnic in the forest. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and are really thankful that we got to experience the culture and beauty of this area on Market day. What really made this excursion extra memorable and fun was the fantastic guide that we had, a young man by the name of Marce! He was the perfect guide for our family, so adventurous, knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile to provide a unique day for us. It is such a treat when guides are flexible and open to whatever adventures may present themselves. We would definitely go with Los Elementos again and highly recommend Lee's personalized services and wonderful guides!

Tikal is an ancient Mayan city. Now is a national park declared Natural and Cultural Humanity Heritage by UNESCO in 1979. Is located in Petén department to the north of Guatemala and is the biggest prehispanic settlement in the country. The population could have reached the extraordinary amount of 100,000 people during its greatest time. This charming place with its many temples, pyramids, ball-courts, and palaces helps us to understand how this city could have been in the old days. Picture in your mind how that imponent civilization raised from the grounds until becoming one of the most important cultures in the world. Spanish explorers found it completely abandoned. Don´t miss the chance to experience the wonderful feeling of being in front of the temples and pyramids that stand on the landscape as protectors of this wonderful territory. If that's not enough, walking in the jungle, hearing the birds, monkeys and other animals in their natural environment is surreal in this place.

Inclusions: Certified Tour Guide Authorized by The Guatemalan Tourism Board Comission., Lunch., Avianca Airlines commercial ticket Guatemala city- Flores and Flores - Guatemala City., Tikal National Park Ticket Fee. , Air-conditioned vehicle

If you are traveling to Guatemala, you have to ride with Byron! He had all of the essentials covered! He was right there for us when we arrived at the airport with a sign and everything. His vehicle was well maintained and absolutely pristine. Not only was he polite, kind and great with kids; he also spoke flawless English which helped quite a bit because my Spanish is... a little rusty. I cannot say enough good things about this experience. He went above and beyond in every way possible including but not limited to amazing knowledge of local custom and history. My wife and I have traveled all over the world and I can say I would come back to Guatemala just to see Byron again. He was that good!

This unique experience can be realized on 2 types of vehicles: ATVs and a Guatemalan Shuttle AKA ¨Pick-Up-Truck¨. First stop is ¨El Cerro de La Cruz¨ at a height of about 5,000 ft. above sea level, this is one of Antigua´s most famous landmarks and attractions where we stop for a great aerial view of colonial Antigua and the villages, volcanoes, and nature located around the valley. Our second stop is ¨Los Celajes,¨ at a height above 7,000 feet above sea level, at this Eco-park we can enjoy a wonderful view of the city and volcanoes around as we partake on a few activities and able to grab some drinks or a snack. Our next stop is Hobbitenango, a unique ¨Lord of the Rings¨ theme lodge & eco-park located in one of the highest mountains around Antigua at an elevation of about 7,800 ft. Here we take a short hike to enjoy more amazing views of the valley and volcanoes. We can also spend time hiking in the woods, throw yourself of the rope swing, or lance some machetes at a target.

It was an amazing trip to Lake Atitlan. Early in the morning, I was picked up from my hotel by a van with a tour guide who was very knowledgeable and kind. Once we arrived to the lake, we took a small boat to cross the lake to a small town. The lake, the volcanoes made an unforgettable view! The lake was still, and the reflection of the volcanoes made perfect Instagram pics. The tour guide offered me to take some pictures and videos, which I found very thoughtful. We toured San Juan la Laguna, a quaint town, and visited a chocolate, pottery, textile, and art shops. The tour guide was very flexible and adjusted the tour to my needs. Overall, it was a great day, a great tour. I strongly recommend the tour and the company.
