We were staying in a vacation rental north of Lyon while attending the Women’s World Cup and had initially wanted to take a Beaujolais Wine Tour on one of the off-days. Unfortunately, we couldn’t find a tour or private tour guide that wasn’t already booked. As a result, we moved further North and started looking at Burgundy wine tours. Luckily by-chance, we booked The Wines of Burgundy Day Tour with Pieter Smits. We had a wonderful tour with Pieter as we visited several villages, chateaus, and wineries. Not only were we able to sample some fine wines but Pieter also selected a restaurant where we had a great lunch. Pieter is very engaging and knowledgeable which helped make the tour very enjoyable. It's an experience I will always remember.

We had aimed up for a historical tour but due to limited number of people we were asked to join this tour. It was not a bad choice and it turned out to a wonderful way to see the city . Barbara our tour guide took our group - we were 8 people on this wonderful tour of the parks in the city of Strasbourg . She showed us the 100 year old trees and also about the app she uses to spot flowers and trees. She also treated us with cake in one of the parks .

Everything we did on this tour was just perfect. The day started with Stéphane picking us up in the Tesla. We went up to the castle and he gave very interesting background information on the history of the region and the castle on the way up. After the castle, we went to a wine tasting which was fabulous. We then went to two villages that looked like they were from a fairy tale. He was very knowledgeable and funny. I would recommend this tour to anyone who visits this region.

We were staying in Strasbourg overnight and wanted a quick and easy way to get to see the city and this was PERFECT! Our guide Quentin was knowledgeable and passionate about his city but also a lot of fun! His English was excellent too! We had the 1 1/2 hour tour, which was perfect for us, as we’d been driving all day from England and were pretty tired but the Segways are very invigorating, so a good choice for us. Highly recommended!

Our initial tour was planned in May, for our Honeymoon, unfortunately this was cancelled due to corona virus. We rescheduled our trip to March 2021. We contacted Ophorus to re-arrange. Michelle was completely understanding and moved our booking, without any extra fees or hassle. She responded extremely quickly, for which we was most grateful. Unfortunately, our honeymoon was cancelled on us for a second time, so we reached out to Michelle again to ask for a refund. Once again, we received a very quick reply, which was great. I work for a small business so understand the importance of cash for small businesses, but once again there was no hassle, and our refund has been processed. I cannot be thankful enough. When the travel restrictions ease, we will certainly be re-booking with Ophorus, there customer service has been excellent. There has been no language barrier issues, the English has been excellent. I wish everyone who reads this review to book with Ophorus. Going by my experience so far they will not be disappointed. Many thanks to Ophorus from us during these difficult times. I wish you well.

Highly recommend this tour, if you're a lover of white wine in general. The guide, florence, took us to some really breathtaking places and introduced us to the very inspiring wine grower. Not only did we learn a lot, we managed to have a very intimate experience throughout the alsance wine region.
