This half day tour follows in the footsteps of the TV show-Amazing Race and visits the same locations as the show while sampling Ugandan food along the way. Our knowledgable tour guide will accompany you on this tour. You'll experience the best view of Kampala when you climb the stairs of a mosque minaret tower, then we drive to the City's largest market, which is the size of nearly 20 football fields. There you will sample delicious snacks such as the Rolex and Ugandan Egg-roll. After that, we take a drive through Kampala's outer neighborhoods to visit the nearby shores of Lake Victoria to see the boat makers, fish auction house and processing. The tour finishes with a feast of fried fish and chips. Transportation, food and drinks are included in tour price. You will be picked up and dropped off at your accommodations in the Kampala area.

Inclusions: Private transportation, Traditional Ugandan snacks will be provided, Lunch or Dinner is included along with drinks

Fantastic tour. Kennedy and Paul are outstanding. They go above and beyond (I won’t be able to eat again for days!!). We only had a short time in Kampala and this was the perfect experience - great food, authentic boda boda experience, and lots of local insights and explanations. Kennedy made sure we got to try everything. I can’t recommend it highly enough. These guys are really fantastic!!!

We did the tour today and we had a great time. Steve was very kind, collected us from our hostel, and guided us through the day. We cooked traditional Ugandan food loke Matoke, Posho, Pumpkin, Casava and G Nuts. We also got a small inside about live in Uganda and had to opportunity to pose a lot of questions, which occured throughout our trip. All in all it was a great expierence. Thanks a lot!

My mother and I did the 10-Day Wildlife Big 5, Murchison Falls, and Gorilla Trekking Safari with Home to Africa. Firstly, if you’re booking a trip to Uganda, you’re not going to regret it. It’s an amazing country, with beautiful people, great food and incredible landscapes. In comparison to other countries more renowned for their wildlife, I can say from experience Uganda outshines them all as you can see all the animals in numbers and from close range. Before arriving in Uganda, all of the organization went smoothly thanks to Hedmond and his team. Emails were answered promptly and always very informative. As soon as we arrived at Entebbe airport, our guide Benon welcomed us with a smile. We didn’t know it at the time but Benon would turn out to be one of the greatest highlights of our trip. I can’t recommend this company more highly and if you get the chance to have Benon by your side you’ll be very lucky. He always went the extra mile to ensure our trip was perfect. His enthusiasm for his country and its animals was addictive. Not only did he drive all over Uganda with us, he provided a valuable insight and treated us as guests in his country, always taking good care of us with a constant smile. He’s such a gentleman, and on parting ways at the airport both my mother and I were extremely sad to say goodbye.
