We went to the art gallery and learned from his lovely wife how much time and research Alfred does before he paints a picture. Very thought-provoking art. We left with a few souvenirs to remind us of our trip. I was able to schedule a 2 hour one to one drawing class with Alfred and left with 3/4 of an eagle done. We will definitely go back for a visit, might even make it artists retreat with some friends.

Took my wife there while we were in Bend Or. It is close to the Old Mill area so it is not an out of the way spot. Large building that is well lit so you can see fabric colors.

Pine Mountain Sports

Located on the Bend’s Westside, Pine Mountain Sports has everything you need to complete your backcountry skiing and mountain bike adventures in Central Oregon.

Reviewed By TravelTripin - Sacramento, United States

We rented bikes from Pine Mountain Sports on a recent trip to Bend and we're very pleased with the bikes and the overall service. The bike shop is conveniently located on the west side of Bend and fairly close to the famous Phil's Trailhead. You could ride to the trailhead in 15 minutes from the shop or you can take a shuttle from CogWild which is upstairs from the bike shop. We rode Bend's famous trails both ways. Going with CogWild gets you further up the mountain and a chance to ride many of the well known trails (Tiddlywinks, Funner, Swede Ridge, Upper and Lower Whoops) without having to climb up to those trails. Also wound up buying a new MTB bike as well. Had been in the market for a while and took advantage of no sales tax and Pine Mountain's crediting three days of bike rentals off of the bike. Great way to buy a bike by test riding it first. Henry helped with the sale, Paco with the bike fit and test ride and Tighe built the bike. All three were great and can't be more pleased with my purchase. Big thanks to Paco for the time spent getting the bike dialed in. Looking forward to our next visit to Bend and highly recommend Pine Mountain Sports.

We are a quilt shop in the small western town of Sisters, OR. The store was founded in 1975 with a mission of providing education and inspiration to sewers and quilters. We have since added a large selection of natural fiber yarns and knitting supplies, as well as supplies for fiber arts, and our own Fiber Arts Gallery. History: Established in 1975. My husband and 2 adult children and I went to paint and sip and had a blast! The artist was so patient and helpful and just made the class very fun! I also loved that it was smaller so we were able to get to know the other people in class and have some fun with them too. They decided to divert from the original painting and the instructor was super helpful with them and helped them to have some fun!
