Born in France of Sino-Khmer parents, I am passionate about Asian cuisine. Passion that was transmitted to me by my mother and it is with her that I learned all the secrets of this authentic and family cooking. In 2015 I created the Youtube channel "Chez Mama Ly" where I already share my mom's recipes. Since 2 years, I give cooking workshops to share my knowledge, my know-how and my techniques on the Southeast Asian cuisine.

Centre de Danse du Marais

Maggie Boogaart and Ghislain de Compreignac are the best dance teachers I ever had. The quality of the teaching is excellent. Maggie is teaching her knowledge from Graham technique directly from the course of Pearl Lam. Everything is base on the pure technique from Martha Graham movements, a technique that can let you discover an endless energy and strongness within yourself. Ghislain is giving great Balanchine technique class, with a lot of advices and anatomy cues. Always kind and supportive. I will thank you also Irene Van Zeeland for her Cunningham technique teachings and contemporary bare. Those class are great, full of advice and allow also improvisation! Classique Balanchine, Contemporary Graham and Cunningham technique have very interesting links to work with, so the class you can take are very completive. I think that the professor have successfully create a sacred place in the studio for creativity, passion and improvment in dance, also improvment in life. This is a school for everybody who want to learn, enjoy and share passion for dance : beginners and professionals. Thank you Cassie Temple-Boyer

In February, during two weeks of intensive French language course for children, we had a busy and exciting time. My daughters (we are Polish) started the course at the level of “absolute beginner”. The teaching methods used by Madam Imane, "notre professeur de rêve", were accurate and remarkably effective. Through games, drawings, puzzles, coloring books, audio-video elements and lots of fun! our teacher passed efficiently a plethora of information in this short time. My daughters get to know lots of words and learned basics of French intuitively. The course was intense, but despite the workload, they love to learn French. Now they are continuing learning in Poland. The time we spent in Paris was very fruitful. We are planning to return to school in the future during winter/summer holidays. I highly recommend Mrs. Imane and FAYL school!

My sister and I had the best time at Emmanuel's workshop at Candora. We are both big perfume lovers but we really didn't know anything about the industry or all that much about perfume. We just know we love to smell pretty! We learned some interesting things about our scent personalities. We really enjoyed the presentation and we love the perfume we created for ourselves. On a trip full of sightseeing and walking around it was a welcome relief to just sit down for a few hours and participate in something a little more off the beaten path. I would say it's a good value for the money as well. I could see this being a nice activity for a bachelorette party or a birthday party for those who want to do something a little different and enjoy having unique experiences.

This was a superb experience! Jewelry making with Mona was one of my most pleasurable moments in Paris. The experience is constructed very well and it is the perfect combination of learning, doing, socializing and relaxing. Mona herself is a fantastic artist, host, teacher and just one of those enchanting people with great personality, and a great cook as well :) Her jewelry collections are just amazing and the bijoux I made with her help is a lovely souvenir from Paris I will cherish fondly :) I highly recommend it!
