We travelled in February 2020 just before the whole world went into corona lockdown. Our trip announced as multi adventure tour has fully fulfilled all the promises made upfront and much more. We took airplanes, buses, bikes, boats and also made a lot of walks - even this was a nice adventure. Specially at the three days biking through Rajasthans landscape we saw people living on the farms, working on their fields, a school from inside, marriages and much more. In the cities we saw many cultural highlights, all the colors of the markets and people and even had a lot of of fun with the nice group of people we travelled with. Sarah and her team from Chalo made these weeks to a wonderful experience - not only the tourists view was shown but also a view of the real life in India with all the nice things but not ignoring the problems and issues they have to deal with. It was our 2nd trip to India, and this trip was much better than the 1st one organized by another company (and we saw the tigers!). We would always book another trip with Sarah to experience new India adventures.

We took the tour with Bala. It was really nice since it included all the things we like the most: nice bicycle ride across the city, history lesson, Indian food and a great guide that put it all together! We recommend to take this tour on the first days in Kochi since it is an excellent way to know the city, understand its culture and diversity, and taking recommendations from the guide for later!

Start your morning bright and early, cycling through the picturesque seaside town of Fort Kochi, and witness the city start to wake up and stir. Join the locals for a hot brimming cup of tea as they start with their day, where you get a peek into the varied and diverse communities from faraway lands who have made Fort Kochi their home. Ride along to catch all the morning action with the hustle-bustle in the fish market. Then, of course, to make up for all the burnt calories, we'll end with a sumptuous local breakfast! We are a bunch of locals who enjoy showing you around the city that we love and call home. There is more to this city than what meets the eye, what better way to explore this than with a local.

My wife and I encountered Joyce on a houseboat cruise boat on the Kerala backwaters. Joyce was very clear and straightforward in his explanations of Kerala and its history, and given his 17 years of tour experience, had answers to all of our questions. We liked Joyce so much we hired him for an additional day to tour us around Cochin to see several sights (beach resort, Maharaja Palace, heritage museum, Fort Kochi, etc). Joyce was very flexible in adapting the tour so we could see what we wanted (more historical sites than massages or resorts), and he arrived early and catered completely to our needs. Will recommend Joyce to any of our friends that visit Kerala.
