Built in 1556, Bogota's oldest surviving church has a beautiful ornate interior.
You'll pass by this Church for sure as it's almost across the Gold museum, so please do come in - don't think it's just another Church. This one, the Church of San Francisco is the oldest one in Colombia's capital. The golden altar will astonish you.

One of the oldest churches here. Impressive artworks and main altar. I think this is the church where you aren't supposed to take pictures.

The beginning of the colonization of Colombia can be learned as you walk the streets of Candelaria. The impressive effort to establish their religion in the New World can be appreciated inside this church!

We came across this church on a Sunday walking through town and there was a market going on out front. It is a beautiful building, and the market was quite fancy as well.
