East Java (Indonesian: Jawa Timur, abbreviated as Jatim, Javanese: Jåwå Wétan) is a province of Indonesia. Sukarno's tomb is impressive, and so is the museum and the entire complex! There is a massive tourist market at the exit of the tomb that sells all kinds of Sukarno and Indonesian political souvenirs. My husband and I were the only non-Indonesians at the site and were treated with great hospitality and curiousity.
