10 Bus Tours in Poznan That You Shouldn't Miss

December 1, 2021 Jeremy Dunfee

Poznan was once the capital of Poland and is still the capital of the Wielkopolska region. Poznan lies midway between Berlin and Warsaw, which has helped make it an important town for centuries. Badly damaged in World War II, the city (especially its Old Town) has been beautifully restored. The huge Old Town Square (Stary Rynek) is one of Europe’s nicest, and is lined by fabulous historic attractions, restaurants and nightlife. The Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul is Poland’s oldest cathedral.

Thank you so much, Piotr, for the amazing ride! As soon as we contacted Piotr we had received quick responses as well as clear email information about our travel journey. As soon as we left the gate from the airport, we were welcomed by Piotr and were taken to the car and were helped to put our luggage inside the vehicle. The vehicle was very clean and neat. Each seat had water provided. Other than this, chargers for the phone were available if needed. We had three long travel destinations to three different cities within 10 days. Piotr was always on time and kept great company. He always recommended places near our stay. From the second we stepped into the car we knew that this is the service we will always be coming back too. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! See you next time Piotr :)

I had a very wonderful tour with Ola ( Alekdandra ) who is most charming and very highly educated and an art and architecture historian, who is very involved in Poznan’s cultural affairs and its preservation. She showed me a great deal of the beauty of Poznan and it’s fascinating history. It was really like taking a college course???? If you are lucky enough to visit Poznan you must request Ola as your guide. She can be booked through Get Your Guide Poznan.

We used this car service twice on our trip to Poznan. I’m always a little nervous when I can’t speak the local language, and Polish is not an intuitive one for me. That said, I will gladly use these kind, reliable folks again in the future. Our driver was pleasant, helpful, and on time for both trips. The MB van was clean and odor-free (one of my quirky pet peeves ;-). All communications by text and web-based messaging with the main office were clear (in English) and prompt. Book with confidence and relax!

We were a group of four. The tour was for approx. 7 hours in the car. They sent us a large enough car so it was very comforting. Our driver gave us pit stops on the way when we requested and our guid in Krakow gave us some stop at the cafe and souvenir shops for us so we had some free time and learned interesting historical facts about Krakow. Very interesting and comforting experience in total. Breakfast and dinner is not included so I recommend that we bring some snacks on the tour.
