We are a family run, cycling tour and holiday company. We organise day cycling tours in the Peak District, the Yorkshire Dales, the Lake District and the Forest of Bowland. We organise multi-day tours elsewhere in the UK, including the Way of the Roses, Hadrian's Wall, North Wales, C2C, Coast and Castles. the Peak District among others. In our day tours we have over 20 different day bike tours covering all the towns and villages in the different National Park. Our day cycling tours range from leisurely to challenging and the routes are a mix of trails and small roads, some are also loops while other are in and out tours. Bikes, equipment, guide and lunch provided. We also offer bike and equipment rental.

Owned by the serving monarch, HM Queen Elizabeth II, through the Duchy of Lancaster, Lancaster Castle is a wealth of English history. Since being established by the Romans the castle has been a home to monarchs, a place of trial and execution, and a working prison right up until 2012. Still a crown court, the majority of the castle is now open to the public for the first time in over 1,000 years. Due to COVID-19 restrictions and ongoing restoration work in the Shire Hall guided tours have been suspended until January 2021. The courtyards are open and free to visit but there is no access to any of the buildings at the moment. The cafe is open between 10.00 am and 5.00 pm daily.

Highly reccommend the guided tour as although I'm a bit of a history fan theres always loads more to learn especially here as it was and still is an active crown court within a castle and has a prison too. What's not to like

If you are visiting Lancaster for shopping or sightseeing, the city museum is worth a visit. The museum is right in the middle of the shopping area, so needs no special journeys to reach it and entry is free. The downstairs is split into two exhibition rooms and a receeption area. During my visit, one exhibition room was being used for a function of some kind and the other was exhibiting the landscape art of two Lancashire artists which was extremely good. A wide staircase equipped with a stair lift leads to the upstairs areas. The upstairs is split into two areas, the history of Lancaster from the stone age and the history of the Kings Own Royal Regiment from 1680. Both exhibitions are well laid out with exhibits and lots of detail.

Arrived before opening times .winter opening not till noon.very informative and interesting exhibits.Set in the beautiful restored custom house on st George's quay by the river.Spent an interesting hour here .Definatly with a visit £3 for adults £2 for concessions.Nice cafe inside

The company has four popular beers that form its core range - Lancaster Blonde, Amber, Red and Black and also produces monthly specials and seasonal beers from our purpose built brewery. We do brewing properly. No fuss, no shortcuts, just proper old fashioned brewing using freshly milled malt, whole-leaf hops and live yeast that, combined with our expertise, produces some of the best beer in the country. We booked in here for the brewery tour.Which included 3.pints or 6 halves of beer and a pie and pickle lunch.The tour was very interesting and well presented by Reuben.Well worth a visit.

After a ride down the tidal road, Sunderland Point we walked to pay our respects to a young boy who was taken as a slave from the west indies back in 1736 ish, sadly the poor boy was unable to speak our language and it is thought that he died from a disease to which he had no immunity, he was buried without a coffin or bier in the clothes he passed away in. It was a sad and emotional time however we were glad to have been.

I have never seen or known a place like this in the UK. The tide comes in and closes off the road making it an island for a few hours and goes out to give access. A few people live on the point and they are all lovely. I have met a few. When you visit always check the tide times so you are not stuck. There are no cafes on the point.
