FOLWARK LUKNAJNO - Is nice & a quiet place 5 km from Mikolajki. Is part of Masurian Landscape Park, located between the biggest in Poland the Śniardwy Lake & the Luknajno Lake which is one of the largest refuge of the mute swans. We offer nice rooms to the lake view, restaurant with regional cuisine, swimming & fishing in the Śniardwy Lake, view towers, long walks and bike rides. In winter we offer sleigh rides, cross-country skiing, skates & fishing from frozen lake. You are welcome to come here.

Reviewed By Via_LavendelA very nice experience! The hostel is very clean and has its own beach nearby the lake. I spend 3 nights at Folwark Luknajno with a good friend. We went in to the woods by bike and could explore the area, we swam in the very beautiful and clean lake Sniardwy and had the chance to relax completely! This place is a secret tip for real where you can get off the hectic and touristic places!

The breakfast was outstanding - nothing cooked but lots of delicious tomato, cheese, ham, fruit and cake. The staff lit the traditional wood heated sauna and I enjoyed that and the swimming pool - the water was very refreshing. The bar closed at 2100 - that was a bit disappointing. Otherwise, a very charming hotel, very big room and lots of traditional character. Definitely recommended.

Reviewed By TsemachPWe are a mature couple. Stayed at the Ach Mazury hotel in Mikolajki. First impression was good. The hotel looks modern and recently renovated. But, our joy ended when entering the room. First of all, it's very small. Second, and most importantly, it has NO aircondioning. When we stayed there the weather was hot and humid which means this small room turns into a SAUNA! The hotel provided us with a small fan which was no help and we passed a terrible night, not being able to breath from the heat. To makes things worst, the day after we returned to the room in the evening just to find it not cleaned. Apperantly, this hotel's policy is to clean every two days only.... And more: part of the room was soaking wet as there was a rain storm while we were gone and no one bothered to close the windows. At the reception he told us that it's our problem... Braeakfast is very poor too. Very few choices, not tasty at all and almost no refills (and remember you're eating in a hot dining room with no AC Overall experience is poor. Stay away if you can... One more thing: one of the receptionists doesn't speak even a word of English....

Reviewed By endrju_74Conveniently located in old town of Elbląg, basically next door to the Żegluga Ostródzka, which offers trips on Kanał Elbląski (Elbląg Canal) - top attraction in this part of Poland, also just round the corner form the cathedral and large market square-like place in front of it. Hotel comprisses of two narrow town houses, with restaurant open to the public at the bottom (outdoor seats take most of small terrace) - that's also the place we had our very tasty breakfasts. Our room was on top floor, called family room, with good wifi. Steep stairs leading to it, no lift. Car parking spaces on a one way street just in front of the hotel, free during weekens. Great place to stay when visiting Elbląg.

Reviewed By sdziakOne of the oldest B&B started as nr 3 in town back in 1986. Great family place. Highly recommended! Cute dog running around, friendly owners ;-). Good price - quality. The view is outstanding, and downtown very close.

Reviewed By Philip SI have recently visited this place, which has now been renamed Peter's Pub. they provide excelent food as well as good live music 2 to 3 times a week. Peter is not only very friendly and a fantastic host but he also plays the gitar on ghe live music nights. The also have good accomodation at very reasonable rates.

Reviewed By CathysClownThe rooms were above a winebar very close to the centre of the Old Town of Olsztyn. The rooms my cousin and I had were very nice, clean, comfortable, hers was a little on the small side. All was well until we decided to get some sleep about midnight when the loudest disco I have ever heard started up in the Revolver Rock Cafe adjoining the winebar (but no connection to it). The music (if you could call it such) was thumping through the walls until 3 or 4am and sleep was impossible. We therefore had 3 nights of sleep deprivation, it closed on the Sunday and Monday nights and thankfully we were able to catch up on our sleep. I don't know if this is a regular occurence or whether it was because there was a student festival on in Olsztyn last weekend, although most of them seemed to be out at the Uni campus. Therefore be warned! We would like to return there again for the Christmas market in December but daren't risk booking the very comfortable Provincja rooms again due to the noise that might come from next door..
