A pleasant stay in Trenčín
Reviewed By Jaroslav Tpros: Stayed here with my friend for a long weekend. We liked the overall cleanliness. Our suite room was spacious and nice designed. The suite also comes wit a huge bathroom incl. hot tub and hairdryer. There is a big flat TV in the room. The double bed was very comfortable even for a person like me (6,5 ft). We enjoyed the breakfast. It was nothing groundbreaking but good enough for a 3* hotel. And all fresh. All staff was extremely kind and helpful. Which is a big pros. cons: In our room 208 the hot tub was out of order. We have been told the guests don´t know how to use it and damaged it all time. So the hotel shut it off. I was a bit disappointed about it. There is a TV guide for the channels in the room. But you will find only Russian TV channels there. Some others were not available.

Nice hotel, with exceptionally kind and friendly staff
Reviewed By Simon GStayed here last weekend in what turned out to be very traumatic circumstances. We were a party of four but on our arrival day, late in the afternoon, one of the party died very suddenly. All the aftermath meant we didn't get to the hotel until the middle of the night. We wouldn't have been surprised to have found the place shut up but, no, one of the staff was up and gave us a kind and sympathetic welcome. That meant so much, as did the attitude of his colleague the following day. The rooms were nice although air conditioning would have been welcome; the breakfast was good and the evening meal we had was superb. The staff spoke excellent English. I'd love to stay here again, in happier circumstances.

AWFUL STAY....STAY AWAY
Reviewed By James SReception unmanned when needing to complain. Old and tired decor. Being ignored and not able to complain. Awful stay and even now a week on, problem not resolved. I stayed in room 24, very small room over 2 floors. Room 25 was occupied all night by noisy guests. RECEPTION UNMANNED TO COMPLAIN. and i got no sleep at all. Bear in mind the rooms are too close together and walls are paper thin! There is no way i would stay in this property again...Awful. I tried to call message and also email the place about my stay and am still ignored. VERY POOR PLACE...Please, do not believe the good reviews. Oh hold on, the breakfast was very good. WALLS BEING PAPER THIN and having to stay up all night and listen to next door antics!

You don't even have time to take a sip of beer and it already lands on your table. And the quality? 5/5! Can't be compared with food in nearby places at all (price as well) The whole cottage is beautiful, the rooms have new furniture, the terrace is spacious and also looks nice, like the whole complex. The staff is friendly, nothing was a problem. Even after closing time they let you sit on the terrace to enjoy the rest of the evening. The environment of the cottage is also great. Different kinds of animals in the nearby enclosure, playground, places for walking, biking, small hikes. We simply cannot complain about anything... and our dog either. Thank you :)

Reviewed By Geokam007Scarlet is in the city centre and the rooms are pretty spacious and some of them have a vew at the castle. Breakfast was served to us and they also provided us Slivovica (local 51% alcohol drink) due to the fact that we did visit a wedding. A nice and peaceful place to sleep and really at a a good location.

Reviewed By Eurocity1968wir waren drei Nächte in dieser Pension, weil unser eigentliches Quartier überbucht war. In der Pension Magnolia haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Zimmer sind ruhig und sauber und sie haben auch einen kleinen Balkon. Die Zimmer werden jeden Tag gemacht . Das WLAN ist stabil und schnell. Das Personal, besonders die Dame an der Rezeption, ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Es gibt an der Bar verscheidenen Getränke und sogar gezapftes Bier. Nur das Frühstück hat deutlich Luft nach oben. Man wählt aus verschiedenen Frühstückstellern eine Variante aus (überwiegend Varianten von Eierspeisen, heißen Würstchen oder ein Müsli). Darüber hinaus gibt es außer trocken Brot/Hörnchen nichts. Keine Butter, keine Marmelade, kein Obst, kein Joghurt, keinen Saft usw. Eine Tasse Kafee wird am Platz serviert (auf Nachfrage gibt es auch noch eine zweite Tasse), allerdings war der Kaffee eher dünn und zudem aus löslichem Pulver. Obwohl die Eier mit Speck gut geschmeckt haben, bin ich so richtig satt leider nicht geworden, zumal man das Brot auch trocken dazu essen muss. Also ein bisschen Marmelade und Butter dazu, vielleicht etwas Obst und einen Joghurt, dann wäre es ein ordetnliches Frühstück.
